He followed them out into where they had been sitting before and sat down on one of the couches.

He sped up, now focusing on reaching the end before her.

Zeph sat down and glanced at Death. "Come here." He said. ( could you play death for a sec? xD We need something to pass the time for Scythe and them lol )

*Tii*

Tii glanced over at him, and her eyes sparked. She wasn't about to be beaten by him. She gave a sudden burst of speed and pulled five feet ahead. The finish line was fifteen feet away.

He gulped a little and stepped closer, glancing at Skeleton.

Skeleton

He nodded and motioned for him to go to Zeph.

He puffed and slowed a tiny bit as she pulled ahead, giving up. Then he realized he would be punished if they noticed he gave up and kept going as fast as he could.

Zeph stood and slowly walked in a circle around him, glancing at his new scars.

Tii kept running, eyes on the finish line. "Almost there!" She thought.

He held still, wondering what was going to happen.

In a last desperate attempt he threw the knife and it struck her in the side. He smiled triumphantly and ran to pass her.

Zeph finished circling him and smirked. "Alright, now show me your mark." ( let's say trainers always have a symbol and they put it on the teens they train so they can get recognition for their work xD )

*Tii*

Tii screamed and dove forwards, crossing the finish line the same time as Wind, but on her side. She curled up and held in another scream, gritting her teeth.

Reluctantly, he pushed down the sleeve on his shirt and showed him the mark on the back of his shoulder blade.

He gasped for air and looked around as people began cheering, he wondered if he had won. He glanced at Tii and smirked.

Zeph grinned at the mark. It was a jagged Z with lightning bolts around it. He stepped back. "Now go back to your master."

Scythe watched with amusement.

Tii ripped the knife out and threw it to the side, then grimaced and squeezed her eyes shut, focusing on breathing.
