[Oliverstorm]

Oliverstorm began to walk to a shelter he knew, tail flicking side to side.

[xanthei]

Nightwing followed quietly, leaping over any small pebble or litter as if it was a big obstacle.

[Oliverstorm]

"Here." Oliverstorm replied softly, stepping into an abandoned twoleg nest. "I have friends here."

[xanthei]

Nightwing looked up. "Friends?" She padded forward a bit cautiously, peering around.

[Oliverstorm]

"City friends. If you're with me they won't hurt you." Oliverstorm looked around. "Hello?" He called, and heard quiet scuffling.

Nightwing nodded and perked her ears, listening for any other sounds that came from around her.

[Oliverstorm]

There was a scrawny orange tabby who dropped in front of them, with a silver tabby after him. The silver one was female. The orange one gave a hiss, then saw Oliverstorm. He purred and walked up. "Hey Ollie!"

Nightwing backed up as soon as she heard the hiss, backed arched. Even if these cats could be friendly to her, she was always going to be cautious.

[Oliverstorm]

"Hello there, Squirrel. Wings." Oliverstorm nodded, looking first at the ginger tom then to the silver she-cat. The silver one had her pale grey eyes on Nightwing. "Who's your friend?" "That's Nightwing." Oliverstorm replied.

Nightwing said nothing, although she gave a nod in greeting as she slowly sat down.
