"That's awful," Winter replied. He knew she knew that would never happen. "The only thing that would keep me from coming would be death, be we won't talk about that. Sit down and I'll make you some tea." He moved her gently and kissed her slowly, easing into her, eyes closed and warm. His hands held her safely, like a shield and a comfort all at once as well as so many other things.

Jasmine kissed him back. He would always come for her just as she would for him. He was so comforting, she was surrounded in a circle of love from him. She pushed the dream away and focused on Winter instead. Her love had done nothing but grow all these years

Winter leaned in, feeling her relax in his arms. Tears for her welled in his eyes but he pushed them away. It was essential that he be strong for her, solid ground to her to get a good foothold on.
"I'm always here for you, and always will be." He pulled away for a moment. "I'll stay here as long as you need me to." He stayed where he was, blinked slowly into her eyes, face peaceful and relaxed. Concern and relief reflected in his own eyes, along with love and the desire to help her.

"Thank you Winter. I know you will always be here for me just as I will for you. I havent had that dream for years, not since it happened." Pulling away, Jasmine smiled to convince Winter she was okay. "Anyway, how was your run?"

[stormy tom]

Winter nodded. "It was good." He smiled, relieve that she was alright. "I was worried," his said quietly. "You scared me."

Mooneyes watched from the doorway. This was the life. He enjoyed watching the pair.

"I was scared too but you are here and we are safe." Jasmine wrapped her arms around him and pulled him into a hug. "So, what are you going to make for supper?"

"That's a good question." He replied, hugging her back. "I'll get something started and then head out. There was a glass bottle on the shore that I kind of broke and I should clean it up."

"Are your feet okay? Since you said you broke the glass. Ill go and get some bandages if you need them." Jasmine looked him with a little bit of concern. She knew he was strong but she didn't want him bleeding over the house. But then again, he may not want them but it was the least she could do for him at the moment.

(Ill be on around 930 tonight. our basketball team made state so I have to work for another person tonight. So ill be on later!)

Winter stood up. "My foot is bleeding," he replied, moving towards the kitchen. He flicked up his heel, showing the long, stabbing wound along the side and some nicks on the bottom. "I'll go talk to the house nearby about littering in the morning."

Jasmine watched Winter walk into the kitchen and stood up after him. She grabbed the first aid kit they had and took out some bandages and tape. "At least wrap them for the night so they don't get anything else in the wounds. And it will stop the bleeding."
