Witer sighed. "Fine, I'll do it for you. But that's it!" He smiled mischievously. "Do you not want what I have to offer? The cafeteria was just spontaneous and one-way..."

[Jazzyleia]

"After you get your leg checked out, then I will take you up on that offer." Jasmine smiled and stood up, holding out her hand for Winter. "And when I say get your leg checked out, I mean right now."

[stormy tom]

"You're not going easy on me are you? I guess I'll take your bribe." He took her hand and pushed to his feet, leaning on the wall.
He knew what would happen if he tried to walk. Pushing pain aside he straightened himself and took Jasmine's hand. Heading out the door he led her towards the hospital wing.
Walking was difficult and his limp slightly lopsided. They reached the desk.

"See, I told you that you needed some help with that." Jasmine smiled and looked at the nurse behind the counter. "Could you take a look at his leg? He was stabbed a couple days ago and didnt come in for anything. Im just worried about the wound."

[stormy tom]

"Sure. Come this way." She led them into an empty room and closed the door. "Lie down on your stomach." She instructed Winter.
He did so, slowly lowering himself down on the bed. The woman undid his bandage to take a look. His tendon was totally destroyed. "Well...you were right to bring him in." The woman nodded to Jasmine.

Jasmine nodded. "Do what you need and he will be staying here until it is healed. Hear that Winter?" Jasmine smiled but knew any longer of waiting and it could have been worse.

[stormy tom]

"No!" Winter looked up. "I'm going back to my room after this. It's late...and there are some things in there that I want to do." He squeezed his eyes shut and gasped, falling back into the bed as the woman stitched him. He clutched at the mattress with his fingers, nails digging in.
He burried his face into the pillow.

"No, you will be staying here. Remember your part of the deal. Besides, there is nothing you need to do back there that should risk your health. You will stay here for the rest of the night." Jasmine sat down in a chair and waited.

"Fine..." He clenched his teeth as the woman wrapped a think bandage around his heel and ankle.
"You can stay here tonight. Give your leg a rest." The woman said and left them.
"I was in bed all day and all night," Winter sighed. "I guess I would still be there though."

"And your leg would be getting worse if it werent for me. So no need to thank me." Jasmine smiled and watched the nurse finish wrapping Winters leg and then watched her leave. "So what is so important that you want to risk your health to get to your room?"
