"I don't trust either of you, I'll say it out right." Winter stood up to face them. "If I've killed them all already then why be so hasty to leave that building?"
"He has a point," River added, standing up beside him.

The man shrugged. "Fine, dont believe me. Not only was I the one responsible for making the lethal injection, I was the one who handed it to the men and watched them be killed. Had I not done so, I would have just been killed and her family would still be dead. And when they realize that Chloe didnt come back to tell the others that they failed, well, they will be looking for her. And I dont think any of you would condemn this little girl to death."

"I'm not entirely following you." Winter replied.
"We don't want anyone else to get hurt who doesn't have to," River replied. "Just calm down and try to think."

"What isnt there to understand? What am I losing you on? My ultimatium was make a lethal injection for her family. I watched rhe man kill them and then he left with the group to get Jasmine. Pretty simple to follow."

Winter locked eyes with him. "Forgive me if the bloodlust is still clouding my mind. You made the injection so it's you who must answer to me. Give me a list of the ingredients used and I know someone who can create the antidote."

"What for Chloe's family? I can't do that and you can't help them now. I'm sorry but after they were, killed, the bodies were burned. But I can still help Jasmine. Hence why I grabbed the papers I needed." The man looked at Winter with sadness. He was upset he had been pushed to create what he had and innocent lives were lost, but he could still help some people.

River said nothing and came up behind Winter, suddenly upon him. She jammed her hand into his neck and he fell unconscious into her. River laid him on the ground. "Sorry, he was making things worse. He goes into fighting mode sometimes and it can be hard to get him to calm down. He's just really worried and grief stricken." She explained. "Now, lets get on with things. Jasmine needs our help right now."

"So long as you guys can carry him. The sooner we are back, the sooner I can get to work. And Chloe might need something to do to distract her." The man looked at the boy on the ground. "Oh and my name is Ryland."

River nodded, serious. "We'll then Ryland, we have work to do." She rolled up her sleeves and beckoned Mooneyes over.
The panther stepped from the bushes and lay down next to Winter. "Blaze will stay here with him for a bit." She wrote something on a paper and handed it to her.
Blaze took it and nodded. "I'll take him back when it's time."
"For now you guys can follow us." River and kyle led the way back.

Ryland and Chloe followed them back to the academy. Ryland had no idea what to expect aand Chloe had only seen the outside. Ryland sighed and looked at the two in front of them. "I have one more thing to say that should be said before we arrive. It has something to do with Jasmine and I personally thought that kid would kill me if I told him."
