"Yeah," Winter replied. "Lets go." He led the way, Natalia and Mooneyes following. They made it back safely.
"Winter! Jasmine!" Blaze came running out, giving the other girl a hug. "We were all so worried!" The others came out behind her, running.
Blaze moved onto Winter, wrapping her arms around him and squeezing.
"Ah , Blaze, that hurts. A lot." He winced, but hugged her back.
"Sorry," Blaze released him, apologetic. She touched his side. "What on earth did they do to you?"
"That can be saved for another time." Winter replied, serious. "I'll explain later."

"Yes, everything can be saved for later. It wont change in a night." Jasmine turned to Winter. "Im going to go and check out the situation that is now my room. Ill see you later probably." Jasmine walked off to her room to see if it had been fixed.

A new door had been promptly reinstalled.
Winter watched her to and turned back to his friends.
"You look exhausted, honestly. Come on. Lets get you to bed." River took his wrist and pulled him off to his room.
Blaze and Kyle followed.
She opened his door and pushed him into his bed. "Sleep." She whispered and he collapsed into the covers. They left him to sleep and closed the door.

Jasmine looked around her room. Everything had been cleaned up and the new door looked nice. She made sure there was no debris left before leaving her room. She walked around until she ended up back outside. It was boring. She knew Winter was either talking or sleeping and it didnt bother her. She sat down on the ledge of the fountain and closed her eyes.

"It's a nice day isn't it." River said, coming to sit beside her. "Winter's asleep, just so you know. He looks aweful." She sighed, kicking her legs off the ground. "Anyways, were all glad you made it back safely."

"Yeah it is fine out. I just wish it were summer already, although that doesnt matter now with no school. As for Winter, he had a rough however long it has been. I thought it would take longer to get back here after everything." Jasmine smiled as she leaned her head back to let the sun soak on her skin.

River closed her eyes. "Yeah...he didnt say a word after you left. There was a...distracted look in his eyes." She hopped back to her feet. "I'm sure that cat will look after him anyhow. Mooneyes is getting quite large."

"Yeah, Mooneyes is a great cat. I would want him on my team and not against me. As for Winter being distracted, that might have something to do with me. But in order to get to that, I would have to tell you what happened the last couple of days." Jasmine rolled her head and opened her eyes to look at River.
"The man who took me wanted to lure Winter there. He said something about experiments with DNA and then using Winter to take control of the government. Anyway, after Mooneyes and I got him out of there, he started to chance. His eyes turned yellow and his canines were a little bigger. He fell asleep and then soon he woke up, but it wasnt him. He was like, a wolf or something. I dont know why, but he wanted to just attack me. Mooneyes held him off until he snapped out of it. I think the doctors and Natalia got him back to normal.
But he might be distracted because I asked him about it this morning. He doesnt remember when he tried to attack me and I agreed not to tell him."

River nodded. "Some things have to be personal battles. That's just the way it goes. He's always been a bit mysterious anyways." She sighed. "I don't understand how anyone could be so cruel. I can tell he's holding things down, memories I mean."

Jasmine nodded. "Yeah, I think he just needs to be alone for a little while. I'm always by his side but maybe he just needs to fight some battles on his own. And he always has friends like you to help."
