Natsume pulled out his shuriken slowly, then faster than most he turned and threw the blade with tremendous force.

Raven dodged it, and suddenly appeared infront of Max, "You know Maxie....your gunna have a hard time tonight.....Pain will make sure of that...Though Tobi might just kill you before we do slowly." she gave a laugh that was fit for most church girls. Pure, beautiful and innocent. She puhed her white hair behind her ear before grabbing Max by the throat.

Max growled.-*Hikaru, take over or something. That's when the claws extend. I want to rip this girls heart out painfully.*

Hikaru did as she was asked, and Max's skin now held the faint stripes, and the pale blue eyes. Hikaru gave a wicked snarl as she tried to claw at the girl.

Raven laughed again and someone appeared at her side. A tall boy, with dark hair, and a voice that seemed to fit a devil. Smooth as velvet, but as dark as the far back recesses of a deep cave. "Hikaru." His voice growled smoothly.

Hikaru froze....that voice....he was dead....? right?

Max faught forward again.-*What happened, Hikaru?*-Max did a handsign and felt her wings grow up. She beat them and went up. The girl still holding her neck. She could barely breath and she had to try getting the girl off.

Sakura was wide-eyed, unsure what to do.

Raven gave another laugh, then squeezed Max's throat, stopping the blood flow to her brain..."good luck Max nara."

The boy stepped out of the shadows, "Shut your mouth Haruna....Thank you Hyuuga for bringing Max to us safely.." he smirked, "you fell into our trap easier than we'd have expected.

Max twitched a bit, the natural instinct to attack sunk in as she lashed out with all her limbs.

It was then when Raven moved, a shuriken pressed firmly against Max's neck, "try to hurt me anymore and you'll die."

Max stopped and glared at her with what strength she had left. She slowly got dizzy and passed out.

Raven smiled, and as they fell she moved into a position where she would be able to catch Max, and not injure herself at the same time.

Natsume glared at the strange man....the akatsuki had new recruits....he quickly did several handsigns, and was soon preforming his clan's strongest jutsu
