We're the only ones to fight this thing until we've won.Hibana is a handsome young wolf with an athletic build and roughly average height. There are larger, stronger wolves, but in his case, being average has been to his advantage. He can use both speed and strength-based tactics with the need arises, and his skill is often the deciding factor when hunting or facing a challenge. He has a harsh coat that lies flat against his body and is bathed in bright red hues. Hibana's undercoat is a rich, rusty-tan. His paws, chest, and lower jaw are all cream, and black guard hairs sprinkled along the upper portions of his pelt result in dark grey shading on his reddish pelt like ash and fire. Also like fire are his eyes, which are pale yellow-amber.
We drive on and don't look back.He has a strong sense of duty towards his pack and his friends, and will do everything in his power to protect and help them. Hibana has a way of uniting others with his passion and he is generally well-liked within the Ice Pack. Though the term 'silver tongue' might be an overstatement, he is not bad with words, and this social skill is yet another reason why he has few enemies despite his rank. Much of the time, Hibana is serious, but not so much so as to bad difficult to relate to. He is simply a more reserved wold when it comes to expressing himself, and subtlety is key when understanding him. Soft chuckles and icy stares mean much more from Hibana than one would normally expect, so it is important to pay attention to him if one wants to get along well with the Alpha.
It doesn't mean we can't learn from our past.Hibana was born into the Ice Pack, along with his two brothers. The three pups were healthy and strong, and both parents were very proud of them. Each grew to be a valuable pack member and all was well until the illness swept through the pack, leaving Hibana without any living relatives. With the pack weakened, he felt desperate to save it in honor of his dead family, so he seized the opportunity to take the Alpha position for himself and spearheaded a plan to save the remaining wolves. It was his idea to invite dogs into the pack in the hopes that they could learn to live as they once did, long before they became the companions of humans. Only time will tell if his plan will save his pack, or strike the final blow.
All the things that we might have done wrong, we could've been doing this all along.Hibana's parents and two brother died during the time of the illness. He has no surviving family.

MuttI hurt so much more than any time before.
Since no one really knows who Chiyoko's parents were, it is impossible to say what breed or breeds she belongs to, but she superficially resembles a large, wolf-like breed like a German Shepherd Dog or a Siberian Husky. She is a larger dog, weighing around forty-five to fifty pounds, and covered in a short, thick coat of black fur. Chiyoko's pointed ears prick straight up, and her eyes are dark brown. Her paws are white and heavily speckled, giving the impression of being grey, from a distance.
She is often seen wearing an off-white bandanna with a black border. It was once a purer shade, but dogs tend to get things dirty.
There is one part of Chiyoko that is unusual, and one would not know it by first looking at her. The tip of her muzzle is sprinkled with white hairs, commonplace on an elderly dog. At three years of age, Chiyoko is still young. She has begun greying prematurely and is rather sensitive about it.I had no options left again.
Quiet is the first thought that comes to mind when considering Chiyoko's nature. She is not usually one to initiate conversations and seems perfectly content to spend time on her own. This may be because of her past. It bothers her from time to time, usually when try to sleep at night, that there is so little information about where she came from. Though Chiyoko is not normally one to get excited about things, any chance of gaining information about her past will send her charging off in whatever direction is most likely to yield results.
This is not an obsession, however, and Chiyoko still functions at a normal capacity. She loves to exercise and is one of the dogs that will frequent the trails in the foothills from time to time. She can also be found relaxing in the park, accompanying her human on errands about the town, or relaxing in her yard. Chiyoko is not normally allowed inside the house, but her yard has a fence that she considers adequate protection.
She can be quite determined about things when she sets her mind to them, but she will carefully weigh all the possibilities before making up her mind. Some would consider her indecisive, but her caution has served her well thus far.
Chiyoko is slow to befriend others, but once she does she is loyal almost to a fault and protective as well. Not enough so to be smothering, but if there is danger about, Chiyoko is unafraid to put herself on the line for someone she values more.I don't want to be the one the battles always choose because inside I realize that I'm the one confused.
She has no real memories of her parents or siblings, just fleeting snippets of sights, sounds, and smells. Chiyoko was only two months old when she was adopted from a shelter. She had been found a few days earlier, wandering the streets without a collar, but with no signs of neglect or abuse. No owner had stepped forward to claim her, and the adorable pup was quickly snatched up and placed in a loving home where she has lived to this day. Lately, she had heard some rumors about wolves roaming the town at night, and she has even seen one of them herself, but she feels she will be fine as long as she stays alert.I don't know what's worth fighting for, or why I have to scream.
Since she has no memory of her blood relations and her early life is such a mystery, it is impossible to say what might have happened to her parents and siblings, if she had any.I don't know why I instigate and say what I don't mean.
Though she has heard a few stories, Chiyoko has only seen one wolf with her own eyes. It was a solid brown female, and Chiyoko will make a point to avoid the wolf if she ever sees it again.I don't know how I got this way.
