He grabbed her hand,"Thats right. Now lets go in." He said and led her inside. His mind was focused on their evening plans. Everything had to be perfect for her, she deserved no less than a perfect romantic evening for her birthday. He even had a surprise, it already waited in his pocket.

Sutton held Colton's hand smiling and talked to the people and held him close then the party over and rai took the puppy back home for her and everything and heather and rai would clean up and they could go, she wanted to help them but they wouldn't let her so she walked out and looked at Colton and kissed him gently "so what are we doing now?" She asked holding his hands and smiling kissed his cheek abd hugged him

"We go to dinner." He said simply with a knowing smile on his face. He had planned this evening in his mind so many times within the past month and tonight was finally the night. He lead her out to his truck then drove to a fancy restaurant outside of town. He helped her out then grabbed her hand and lead her in.

Sutton smiled and followed him and snuggled up to him and held his hand, if was a fancy restaurant and she was wearing casual and she didn't care as long as Colton wasnt in formal which he wasn't, she stayed close to him as they got seated, then a person handed them menus and kissed his cheek and put the menu down and layed her head on his shoulder "you pick something for me" she said smiling

"Alright. Does a steak sirloin with a baked potato for a side sound alright?" He asked her. That's what he was getting but he wanted to see if she would also like it.

Sutton smiled and nod slightly "of course!" He said smiling and kissed him "I love you" she said quietly and layed her head on his chest as he had a arm around her shoulders and looked at him "I want to be with you forever Colton" she said blushing

He smiled knowingly. He quickly ordered then excused himself to the restroom. On his way back, and before Sutton could see him, he pulled out the box in his pocket, it was small but held value. He hoped she would say yes. He walked back and still holding it he got down on one knee,"Sutton, you're the only girl I could ever dream of being with. I love you and never want to leave you alone again. Will you marry me?" He asked opening the small box to reveal a ring.

Sutton was shocked, she remember when he left that she'd wish he'd propose Oneday, she was crying tears of joy and gasped and nodded and got down to him and kissed him smiling and pulled back looking into his eyes smiling and extremely happy and put her head on his chest hugging him tightly smiling and stood up helping him up too and kissed him again

He stood up and kissed her. He then put the ring on her finger with a smile. He couldn't be happier. He hugged her and kissed her again. All he felt was relief, joy, and happiness. Now, she wouldn't have to worry about Ethan, he will always be there for her. "I love you, Sutton." He said softly.
