He shrugged and said smiling,"I wanted this to be special. Oh and I have to go grab something else." He said. He left to his tuck and grabbed a bag with the dog stuff then picked up the puppy and tied the gift card to the bow around it's neck. Then he came in and set the puppy down and came into the kitchen and set down the dog stuff. "You'll be needing this." He said and bent down and picked up the puppy which had followed him. "Happy birthday, baby. I hope you like dogs." He said with a grin.

She said and kissed him sweetly for a few minutes then parted and saw the gift card and took it off and waved it in his face "I'm not accepting this!!! I don't want money!!! I just wanted you and only you but you had to just go out and do all this, didnt you?" She saud laughing and put the puppy down and pulling Colton close "how did you afford all this?" She asked curious

He grinned and shrugged. "Thanks but, you deserve the best birthday considering you've been through a lot. Take it, I don't expect anything to be returned." He said. Then paused a bit surprised, she didn't know of his wealthy parents and rich inheritance. "Well..I thought you knew but my family's really rich. Billionaires you know, self made, mostly, and I kind of borrowed a tiny bit of my inheritance money for this. Don't worry this was nothing compared to what I originally had planned. Believe me, all this coming from me is something small." He said giving her a hug.

I feel like when people do that, it makes me feel like I'm making them feel like I'm wanting only their money and I'm not cause I'm not that type of girl, so I'm sorry but please take this stuff back! He frowned. "I'll take the gift card back but that's all. You deserve it and you aren't using me. After all you did break up with me once because you thought I was using you. Please Sutton. Rai sent a text message to Colton "hey man, me and heather and Ethan are all throwing sutton a surprise birthday party, come help us but don't tell sutton!" He sent it laughing, him and heather not knowing about Ethan

His phone buzzed in his pocket. He read it without her seeing it and replied,
'I can't be there if Ethan is. Sutton wouldn't want him there either. It's a real reason and I'm not letting her down there unless he leaves I'm serious.'
He sent the message and apologized,"Sorry it was my work." He kissed her and smiled. His mind raced however, with thoughts if what Ethan was doing there and what else he wanted with Sutton.
