He felt bad he knew it was all his fault. Yet, not sorry enough to apologize,he never apologized unless he truely regretted something. And the kiss was something he didnt regret. He texted a few friends and managed to get Sutton's number. He ceated a contact for her and sent a meesage,
'Hey this is Colton'
Then he hit send then paused before sending another message
'I was wondering if maybe I could take you out for a night soon to make it up to you. Friday night okay?'
He hit send then slouched in his seat waiting for a reply.

Sutton read the texts and looked at them and texted back "Why so you can kiss me and run off again!" she texted back and laid on her sisters bed, crying and clinching her fists together

Luke saw colton and ran over to him "Hey buddy, why you look so down?" he asked

"Theres this girl I like, but I think I messed up and theres no hope of an us." He said sadly. He read her message and texted back,
'No, Im not that big of a jerk. Maybe so we cant get to know each other better, and at least just be friends maybe?
He hit send amd waited for a reply anxiously.

Luke nodded and took his phone from him and got wide eyed when he was who he was texting "Lets skip school i gotta plan" he said and grabbed colton and took him to sutton's house and knocked on the door

Sutton came down and answered it and saw colton and luke "Luke? what are you doing here and why did you bring him!" she said kinda happy that luke was here but angry cause colton was there

"Thanks, Luke." He whispered. Then he said to Sutton,"I know I was a jerk but I am sorry, and considering Icdont apologize but to people I really like, thats alao a compliment. And again, maybe you can hook up one of you're friends and Luke and we can all go on a double date thing, or just all go as friends, its whatever you want. Just please give me another chance, who knows maybe thers a rebel in you, I can show you the wild fun side of life you know." He said.

Sutton looked at luke then to colton "Obvious luke didnt tell you that were ex's and it would be werid to hook up one of your friends with your ex plus i dont have any friends" she said and stood back "But you guys can come in" she said nicely

Luke came in and sat on the couch, embarresd "Yeah, forgot to tell you that, sorry dude" he said sighing and rolling his eyes

He just glared at Luke, this information wouldhave been handy to know, like ten seconds ago. He heard her say shehadno friends. "Uh huh, no friemds? What about that Heather girl? She's obviously been trying to cheer you up amd be there for you, thats a good friend oppurtunity to have if you ask me. Thanks." He said as they stepeped inside. He sat on the other side of the couch from Luke.

"A friend is a friend, whether younger or older, and Heather sounds like she's been trying to help you, so why don't you invite her. Afterall, Luke's herage, or there's my friend Jaake or...nevermind, want to go anyways? It'll be fun..." he said hoping she'd say yes to hanging out.
