Compared to the beautiful, outgoing Melody, Sutton Bran has always lived in her older sister's shadow as the shy, innocent girl. Even so, she happens to catch the attention of mysterious bad boy Colton Jones. He steals her first kiss one night at a party and sends her home thinking that her life is finally starting to fall into place... that is, until she arrives at her house to find that Melody has been killed in a drunk driving accident. Unable to deal with her grief, Sutton's life spirals out of control. But one guy thinks he has what it takes to show her there's still so much to live for. All she has to do is be a little rebellious.

I owe it to her sister to watch over Sutton."

Sutton walked in and trying to stay an outsider and walks into a corner and stands and thinks of her sister and how they were so diffrent and how she wanted to be alot like her sister, sutton sighs "I wish you were here melody" she said frowning

She walked in the hallway, she spotted Sutton. She walked over,"Hey. How you doing, Sutton?" She asked cheerfully but she knew something was wrong with Sutton.

He watched Sutton as she walked then shook his head. He was king of high school she was nobody it was unfit. But still he watched her

Sutton looked at Heather, she was just like melody, very skinny, blonde hair and beautiful in every way "I miss melody" she finally said and saw colton looking at her but looked back at Heather, she didnt want to repeat what happened at the party, the kiss, the thought of him and her kissing again made her felt warm and fuzzy but didnt let it get to her.

"I do, too. You know you're like her, sure not as wild but you two both are great people. And you're pretty, just like her." She said trying to cheer the girl up, she remembered Melody. She had died instantly so no one could say goodbye. She glanced at Colton and rolled her eyes, she and Melody may have been considered popular but she had never liked that boy. Full of himself and arrogant. In her opinion, of course, but she felt certain she wasn't the only person to think that about him.
