Brooke Faith looked as everyone's eyes were large and most of them ignored her. "Don't make me get Ian.." she growled her fists tightening. "Oh what the little boy going to do about it? I am more scared of you than him!" the kid said. Brooke stomped her foot and turned around. "If I was commander I would be kicking you into Rat Army!" she yelled. That was the worst Army on the charts. She strode by knocking on Ian's doorway. The door slid open. [ like the one in my basement but two doors. One going left one going right." she walked in. "Ian I think its time." he looked like he was thinking and she frowned wondering what he was thinking about. "What are you thinking about?" she finally asked.

I a n looked up, seeing Brooke. "Oh...um...nothing. What's up? Oh, wait, it's time? Okay. Which ones?" He listened to the voices in the barracks next door. Taylor and Jacob were arguing, so probably them. {Like what I did there? And thanks for explaining the doors, lol} Ian stood, walking past Brooke, accidentally bumping her shoulder. "Sorry," he muttered, remembering the awkward moment during breakfast. He walked into the army barracks and frowned. "Alright, which of you was being a brat?" Sadly, that was one of the meanest things Ian has ever said in his life. Not a curse word or anything, just "brat".

Brooke Faith smiled crossing her arms as some laughed not thinking it was real others stopped more serious now completely convinced. Taylor turned around and yelled interesting words at Jacob then Jacob turned and looked at Ian. "What do YOU want?" [ totally not their personalities. ]

I a n smiled, but it wasn't friendly. "Taylor, Jacob, funny you should speak up. I was just talking to Aaron Reese during breakfast. He mentioned needing some new soldiers, and I told him I have the perfect guys for the job. You leave after lunch." He looked at the others, who had gone silent, staring at Brooke like they couldn't believe she was right. Taylor and Jacob gaped, stammering and pointing at each other like, "no, just take him!". Ian gave them all a cheerful little nod and walked nonchalantly back to his bunk, gesturing for Brooke to follow.

Brooke Faith smiled and as Ian walked off she snuck up in front of Jacob is looked his straight in the eye almost nose to nose. "Told you!" she smirked and turned around walking. Looking like a model as she walked because she knew everyone was watching she was happy she got to use the walk she always practiced when people stared at her. "Fine go back to your boyfriend!" she ignored them pretending to do exactly what they said to do. "That's right" she muttered walking into his room. "You know. I feel like this is more than a survival prison than a school I was thinking of talking to the teachers and asking them If I could arrange a council and arranging some cool things during the free times? Like maybe me and all the other commanders and arrange some fun activity or a dance." she muttered. "its not fun here. I wanted to save people but getting there stinks.."

I a n sighed, sitting on his bunk. He patted the mattress beside him for her to sit. Was it weird to invite her to sit on his bed? Nah. "Yeah, unfortunately I don't think anyone agrees with you but me. We're supposed to be ruthless killing machines in here, remember? We don't play, we don't dance, we don't fall-" He stopped, shrugging. "We aren't kids. We aren't even teenagers. We're little adults, twisted around the teachers' fingers. If you asked that, you'd get iced, sent earthside. I don't blame you Brooke, but don't risk it. I don't want you to have to leave." He looked away. "I mean, who else would help me out?"

Brooke Faith rolled her eyes. "You don't get iced if you have a stupid Idea. You get iced if your to hurt to continue or you did something terribly wrong. There's something about me that they like so one small idea wont hurt. But yeah I understand. She walked over sitting down. "Lucky I have to sleep under the kid that passes gas." she admitted. "That's why I sleep out in the hallway sometimes." she smiled looking up at him. "I guess I am more open to these kinds of things, like wanting to talk to the teachers or doing things that was never talked about as a rule or not because if I get iced I wont be sad. I might miss some people..." you she thought. "but other than that I don't feel like I belong here. At least your liked enough to be a commander. I have NO friends, none. Someone called me Joyce yesterday. I hate that name!"

I a n had an idea, but he didn't want to say it. What if she thinks the wrong thing? After a long moment of silence he said, "Um, if you want y-you could sleep in here? I mean, instead of me. I could sleep on the floor or something? Or I could just have you switch bunks with someone? I don't want you to be tired from lack of sleep. Our army would suck even more," he joked. He wondered if she really would ask the teachers for a dance. Even if she did, they would say no. "Yes" wasn't even a possibility.

Brooke Faith smiled and nodded. "Sure! Just wait." She ran off running into the bunks and grabbed her pillow and blankets she ran back all smiley like every girls is at a sleepover. Even thought this wasn't the same. In space and there's only one person. Plus he was a boy but Ian wasn't manly so he didn't count. She ran back grabbing the thin mattress that's on the bed realizing how modern this place was. She hasn't seen wood in ages. She ran back laying her mattress on the floor next to his bed. "There!" she said smiling. "Ah! I could sneak snacks from dinner and we could try and play that memory game everyone started doing because of Ender!"

I a n stared at Brooke. "Wow. You're really excited." He rolled his eyes and laughed. "I heard Ender defeated an unbeatable game, and I doubt we could do that. Go ahead and try, but you know the Giant will kill you." He flopped back so he was laying down, his arm hanging down by her face. Grinning like a kid, he poked her cheek, trying to annoy her.
