I sighed and turned off my alarm and got out of bed.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer heard his alarm and chewed her lip softly putting the picture down next to her. She leaned against the wall. She needed to earn some money but she knew that in a weeks time she'll be in no state to work.

I quickly got dressed and grabbed and apple. I found Jen in the living room. "What's that?" I ask, pointing to the notepad.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer glanced at the picture. "A picture.." she said. "And good morning to you too." she said smirking. She picked up the notepad and stood up sighing. "Keaton, I really am sorry..It came as a shock to me too. I would've told your earlier but you seemed happy and I love seeing you happy." She said looking at him sadly. "The doctor said my health will start deteriorating at the end of a weeks time. After that happens, I have a month before I...you know..pass on." she said her gaze falling do the floor.

I sighed and pulled her into a hug. "It'll be okay. We'll get the money. Now, what's the picture?"

[Jenny,]

Jennifer looked him in the eye. "Don't laugh, alright?" she asked showing him the picture she drew of him.

I stared in shock at the picture. "I never knew you could do this. It's amazing!"

Jennifer smirked shaking her head softly. She put the notepad down. She leaned against the wall looking at him.

I looked at Jen sadly, chewing on the inside of my cheek.

Jennifer noticed the way he was looking at her. "I'll see if I can earn some money before I start going downhill. I'm going to have to ask the doctors for help.." she said.
