Jennifer sighed. "You don't understand! Jakes like a father to me, and if he was gone..." she didn't finish turning and walking out of the room. "Just...its not worth it." she said.

Keaton
"Fathers don't hit their kids." I snapped.

[Jenny,]

"Actually some do" she said. She took off down the road againtears now flowing from her eyes. She did try not to cry when they got into fights but heres the truth. She isn't as strong as she portrays herself.

Keaton
"Not the real ones." I muttered to myself.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer made her way to the nearest park. The one she had just been at. Jake had moved on so she was all alone, again. Shhe curled up undr a tree sitting there staring at the ground.

I walk out of back room and out to the truck. I ball up my fists and punch out the back window.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer wasn't sure if she'd go back. She was only making him angry and she didn't want him to go back to his old ways. She sniffed softly pulling her sleeves down.

With my hand cut and bleeding and swollen, I drove home and crawled into bed. I ingnored the agonizing pain in my hand and fell asleep.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer fell asleep against the tree. She woke up the next morning with the hope that it was all a dream. She sighed when it wasn't. She didn't know where to go anymore.

I woke up the next morning and felt around the blankets for Jen, and remebered that she never came home. I sighed and got dressed in what I wore yesterday and went to work.
