Jennifer shrugged. "If you want to I don't mind.." she said.

I stepped onto the pavement. "You sure?"

Jennifer looked at him. "Its up to you" she said before taking a deep breath before walking inside. "Jake?" she asked.

I walked beind her, my hand on the small of her back.

[Jenny,]

Jake came out of his office his eyes brightening as he saw them there. He went to give Jennifer a hug but was a bit surprised when she backed away "Whats wrong with you?" he asked. Jennifer shook her head "I'm just...not in the mood for hugs.." she lied.

I looked at Jake, weary of him. I started disliking him when he pushed Jen, and then left for a whole month. I laced my fingers with Jen.

[Jenny,]

Jake just narrowed his eyebrows. He turned on his heel and walked straight into her room his heart sank. "What happened this time?" he asked looking at yhe packets of unused cigarettes and drugs. Jennifer felt her heart skip a beat "None of your concern" she said with pure fear.

I walked over and stood next to Jake. "Jen." Was all I could get out. It was my fault. I lead her to this.

[Jenny,]

Jennifer backed away until she hit the door. "I didn't know what I was doing! I was depressed I couldn't think of a better option!" she said her eyes wide as she opened the door slightly. Jake just sighed "You didn't start did you?" he asked picking up the packs of ciggarettes.

I looked at her, tears froming in my eyes. I really really hope she didn't. I remeber how hard it was for me to stop.
