Absence was with him. He was sitting at the table, playing with a few stuffed sheep.

"Absence, fetch Rin for me, will you?" Assistance asked as he slaves over a pot and stove.

"Okay." Absence hopped out of his seat and went upstairs. "Mommy! Assist-kun wants to see you."

[Balsam]

"Hmm? Okay." Rin stood up, wincing. "Tell him I'll be there in a few. It's hard for me to walk....."

"Ah, stay there mommy." Absence ran downstairs and soon returned with Assistance following.

"Oh, Rin. How are you going to get around efficiently? Do I have to carry you?"
