"Alright. Now Len. Tell me everything that's wrong with Rin."

Rin waited to hear what Len had to say.

[warlord.]

"... She's quick to anger. The others dress her up too much and I don't really like it. She's... Really emotional. But I guess I can't blame her after all that's happened."

Assistance returned his attention to Rin. "What has happened, Rin?"

[Balsam]

"....." Rin closed her eyes. "... Things which can never be healed. There was Asura.... There was a more recent incident which I would prefer none of us talk about. Even.... Those incidents with you. Sorry to say. All of those things changed us."

"I see. How often do you two spend time together?"

Len glanced at Rin.

[Balsam]

"Less often now than we used to." Rin said softly. It was obvious some of Len's words had stung her. "..... Now he goes out a lot to work.... And he hangs out with the guys a lot.... Not that that's a problem. I don't mind that, since I spend time with the girls. .... I just want... To see him more. I miss him. And that in itself..... Makes me quick to anger and be emotional. Not what has happened." She was nearly crying. "I can't stand how often I'm alone now. He's gone too often."

Assistance nodded. "Len, do something for me, will you? Quit your job, limit your time outside, and take a single weekly trip to the casino. Got it? Rin obviously needs you right now."

Len nodded. "Yes sir..."

[Balsam]

".... No!" Rin snapped. ".... Do NONE of those things. .... Such a thing won't make anyone happy. Len will have to change so much.... And I'll be unhappy knowing that fact Doing none of those things will help! So Len shall keep his job. Spend as much time outside and with his friends as he wants. And go to the casino whenever he feels he desires. .... If I found I were the reason behind the end of any of that.... .... But. As things stand, the two of us continuing on like this will never end well. .... We can't choose one path without the other twisting the knife." A single tear fell from her right eye, falling directly onto her hand.
