My charries got into carriages.

Len sat in silence.

Nienna said a silent prayer.

Everyone was, by now, sitting on wooden chairs outside the library. Rin was the exception, standing in front of a giant crowd of elves. Pastel stood beside her, flapping her wings.

Len was sitting with Absence and Senshi.

[Balsam]

Rin bit her lip. She was nearing the end of some sort of speech. ".... I know many of you shall grieve with us at this horrible loss. But, we must be able to continue on. So, with a heart heavy with grief and a mind filled with the future, I would like to present to you your new leader. Everyone, my brother, Ren." She looked at Ren as he stood and went over to her. Many applauded. Sighing, Rin went and got three things: a glimmering golden ring set with a gleaming emerald, a book entitled 'Code of Elven Conduct', and the odd, curved blue sword.

Chibi Chibi went over to Len and hugged him. She was crying.

Len picked her up and held her close.

[Balsam]

Rin glanced at Len. "...." She went back over to where she had been. Holding out the book, she said, "Ren, place your hand on this book, please."

Ren did as he was told.

Chibi Chibi sniffled.
