Len found himself smiling. "That was beautiful..."

Lui stood up as Yuuma's grip on him was loosened.

"I-I apologize," Yuuma muttered.

"You'd better mean that." Gakupo sighed softly, obviously irritated. "Anyway," he turned to look at the group of girls. "I'm curious. Who might you all be?"

[Balsam]

"....!" Rin turned around. She narrowed her eyes.

Mizki looked scared. She hid behind Rin.

Ring went over to Lui. ".... Teto-san. You introduce us to purple."

"I'm Teto. That jerk with the Lui guy is Ring. This pinkette here is my best friend Luka."

"Nice to meet you!" Luka smiled.



I highly doubt we'll finish today.

Len's smile remained. "Hello. Len, at your service." he bowed.

Lui quickly grinned at her before he looked up, seeing a small bunch of black smoke in the sky from a fire somewhere farther off. "?"

Yuuma silently walked off.

"It's nice to meet you all." Gakupo smiled.

[Balsam]

"..." Rin tightened her grip on the knife. "What do you want?"

Ring followed his gaze. "....?"

"Cannibals~!" Teto grinned, noting the smoke.

Luka hid behind Gakupo, due to figuring he was likely the strongest person there. "...."

"What do I want? To not be killed by you, I suppose."

"Cannibals..?" Lui shivered.

Gakupo blinked. He turned around and placed a hand on her head. "Don't worry, there aren't going to be cannibals. I'm sure there's plenty food sources on this island." he smiled.

[Balsam]

"As long as you don't try to harm Mizki, that can be arranged." Rin put the knife away. ".... The name's Rin. O-of course, it's not like I care if you remember that."

"Teto just wants to scare us."

Luka blushed slightly and stared at the ground. "We can hope...."

Len placed a hand over his heart. "I'll remember forever."

"R-right."

Gakupo nodded. "Right. Shall we go investigate?"

[Balsam]

"Idiot. Once we get off of this island, we'll never see each other again. Why remember something like that?"

Ring smiled. "Um, Purple and Luka, you two should go investigate. The rest of us will search for shelter.

Luka nodded. "Sounds good to me."

Len looked her in the eyes. "I will never forget what will happen here."

"Yeah."

"That sounds good. Let's go." Gakupo walked off.

[Balsam]

"And why not?"

".... TAKE TETO WITH YOU!" Ring added, as an afterthought.

Luka and Teto followed.
