Lucas frowned as he looked down at her "I'm not letting you go alone" he said firmly. he was afraid she would get badly hurt again

"Lucas I'm faster and stronger than you. I'll be safe." She said, kissing his cheek. She really would get stuff from the cabin, but first she wanted to go into the city to feed. She hated feeding on Lucas, hated that it caused him pain.
