The echidna was growing frustrated, and upon this, his teeth gritted with a growl. "Oh, I am gonna bother. No brother of mine is gonna think of himself as scrap!" He exclaimed before suddenly scooping Aiden up, flipping him upside down, and holding him by his own leg. With his other hand, he poked his in the stomach. "There. Now do I have your attention?"

Aiden just looked very unamused, scowling up at Knuckles with a threatening glare. "Yes. You do." He snarled in response, now just more angry because he was being held upside-down.

He returned the glare, baring his teeth. The echidna huffed before speaking. "Look. You're much better than a piece of scrap. You've saved my hide several times, and you were the one that even brought up how we're gonna FIX a city that you once wanted to destroy. Get my drift, lil' bro?" He concluded before flipping the hedgehog over, placing him on his feet.

Once wanted to destroy. Aiden just stood there in the rain in silence, his expression now oddly blank. Wanted to destroy. Want...To destroy? It was messing up his head again. He was really confused. :c

He groaned, face-palming himself. He was horrible with this stuff. "Look, I know that you sometimes think that you're worthless. But you're not! Think, just a few minutes ago, you defeated me in a game of wit. In the span of a few minutes. What happened to being the superior being?" He continued, waving his hand before an idea came to him. "Oh well...I guess I'll be the more confident one..." He sighed, thinking that if he said that he was more of something, Aiden's superiority would come through and try and make him confident, thus defeating Knuckles in another game of who was top.

The superior being? Oh no he didn't. Knuckles was implying that he was superior. Nope. Can't have that. Aiden sharply glared at Knuckles, but not hatefully, just because he didn't like that implication. "What are you trying to say?" He asked with a quiet growl. As if by some sort of instinct, he instantly felt a lot more confident in himself.

He smirked, having his idea work meant a lot to him, since they usually didn't. "Hm? Oh, nothing. Just figured that since you're beating up on yourself, I'm more confident than you." He repeated, looking away and crossing his arms, trying to hide his smirk of success.

But then he just sighed and plopped down on to his butt with a disappointed scowl. "I hate my life." He muttered, not truly meaning it, just saying it because he could. He glanced up at Knuckles and ended up smiling. "But you make it more tolerable."
