1x1 with Wind Song

Aang opened his mouth, but then forgot that his mouth was full of ham and cheese, so he continued chewing until he swallowed. ''Yeah, I'm fine. Actually, I'm great. '' He said with a smile. '' I just have a lot to think about, that's all.'' He reached out and grabbed Taeru's hand, squeezing it lightly. With the other hand, he ran his hand through his hair.

Taeru felt better as she felt the warmth of Aang's hands, but she was still somehow worried. ''Okay'' she said quietly, but happily. She was just glad to be here with him.

They finished the sandwitches and stood up, as Taeru brushed the crumbs off her dress.
She looked around, curious. ''Where to now?''

Aang stood up and fixed his jacket. ''I was thinking the boardwalk, but it's all up to you.'' He told her.

''S-sure'' she said and squeezed his hand.
Something wasn't right, she felt self conscious now, so she walked a little closer to him to see if he woudl move away~

Aang glanced at Taeru and gave a crooked smile. He was anxious and nervous at the same time; today was the day that everything would change. One thing worried him though, will she say yes, or, will she decline and wait further along, or worse, leave him for good?
The two of them crossed the street, hand-in-hand, till they got to Aang's car. Letting go of Taeru's hand, he walked around the SUV and opened the door, mentally preparing himslef for the life-changing day he was about to encounter.

By the time they arrived at the boardwalk, it was about 2:00. It had been a short, but quiet ride which had made Aang a little worried. What if she knows... Aang thought to himself suddenly.
Aang walked next to Taeru, their shoes clonking softly against the wood. The amusement park rides were up and running; the sound of others cheering and talking in the distance. Aang stopped and turned to Taeru, sticking his hands causally in his pockets, grinning slightly. ''So, what do you want to do first? We can go on a few rides, or maybe play so games?'' He asked her, glancing excitedly at the fun ahead of them.

Taeru looked around, her eyes almost sparkling. She seemed shy most of the time, but when it came to rides and fun fairs she was all over them. "That one?" she grinned at Aang and pointed to a huge ride that had a short line and some excited couples crowding around.
The smell of popcorn and candy made her dizzy and excited like a little kid again. She grabbed Aang's arm, cuddling close so their sides touched. "Come on!" she laughed.

Aang gave a toothy grin and nodded briskly. ''I'm coming, I'm coming!'' He said, laughing along. He ran along with Taeru and they both got in line, hatting happily about the rides and what not.

By the time they had rode all of the rides and played all of the games, the sky was dimming as it was getting closer to night. Aang and Taeru stood together next to the car, chatting about the next thing. ''I was thinking dinner. Where do you want to go?'' He asked her, cocking his head slightly.

Aang gave a toothy grin and nodded briskly. ''I'm coming, I'm coming!'' He said, laughing along. He ran along with Taeru and they both got in line, hatting happily about the rides and what not.
