"Because I said so," Patchfeather hissed. "I'm a warrior and therefore outrank you apprentice."

[WinterWanderer]

"Ha! You think that, don't you?" Washpaw laughed.

[Mist]

"I know so," Patchfeather meowed with a flick of her tail. "Now why don't you go terrorize another cat?"

[WinterWanderer]

Washpaw slammed her against a tree. "I will no longer be Washpaw by tonight, you'll hear so at the Gathering." He smirked, then ran off.

[Mist]

"I'll be at your ceremony mouse-brain," Patchfeather called after him. "Sorry about that," she meowed as she turned to face Thymestep who had watched the whole exchange in silence. "I think he forgot we were Clanmates."

"Maybe that's not such a bad thing," Thymestep meowed as he took a seat. "He'd probably tell Wolfstar that one of his warriors was talking to me and MistClan needs no further trouble from StormClan."

[WinterWanderer]

"Patchfeather." A small Red-brown manx mewed. Her eyes were bright blue like lightning, and her tail's tip was Silver like storm clouds.

[Mist]

Patchfeather turned to face the she-cat with a twitch of her tail. "What?" she asked.

[WinterWanderer]

"I thought you said we weren't goin' back 'cause Wolfstar don't like us." She mews.

[Mist]

"I can't abandon Earthpelt," Patchfeather meowed softly. "He's my littermate."

[WinterWanderer]

"But he can barely get on his paws. And With Milkheart sick, he can't get treated." The she mews.
