"Well, I kind of need to go home and change, then we can do something." Alex said, smiling. She looked at the ground, and asked hesitantly. "Could you come with me, maybe come in?" She asked softly.

"Of course," Ethan responded, nodding his head; "I won't let her lay a hand on you - I promise." He stared at Alex intensely.

Nella awoke and yawned, turning over.

Axel smiled, "Thanks." She said, as she got up, stretching and walking to the door. "Ready to go?"

Rex woke up as well, rolling over, keeping his eyes closed.

"Yeah. ." Ethan hopped up, following her.

Nella went downstairs and brushed her teeth and went to her closet; "What to wear, what to wear?" She thought aloud.

Alex arived at the door, looking at it sadly. She slowly placed the key in the lock, opening the door as she walked inside. She left it open for Ethan to see in, to help her if needed. Her mom stood in the kitchen, and looked over at her. "Where did you go yesterday?" She asked, and Alex sighed. "Ethan's house." She whispered, and her mom raised an eyerow. "Reallly? Is that so." Alex nodded, walking up the steps. "I think you'd like him mom." She whispered, getting her stuff from upstairs. "He's outside isn't he?" Her mom asked, and she simply nodded. Quickly changing up in her room, and coming down. "Be back at nine." Her mom said, and Alex shook her head. "No, I'll be home when I come home." She said, trying to stand up for herself. "I said be home at nine." He mom said, walking up to her. "Mom I said..." Her voice trailed off as a large slap was planted on her face. "Don't talk back to me, you'll be home at nine."

"KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF HER!" Ethan growled, exploding.

Alex looked at the door, her eyes wide. Her mother turned, "Your not in charge of me, you barley know her!" Her mom yelled, glaring at Ethan.

"I know her better than you do!" Ethan yelled back; "And I also know that she's never done anything to make you behave like this towards her."

Her mom pushed Alex behind her, glaring at Ethan. "Yes I do! She killed my husband!" She yelled, glaring at him evily.
