Alex ran to the door, knocking. "Ethan, please...what's wrong?"

[Silent Scream]

He learned up against the door, preventing her for getting outside. He didn't want her to see him like this.. Like a pathetic peice of driftwood floating in its own puddle of tears (I like that simile!:D) "Why..." he whispered "Why couldn't you have just told me you loved him.

(That's the thing with Ethan and Nella... Two specialties: hating themselves; hiding it.)

Alex heard it, she heard the small voice that whispered words she never thought she'd heard him say. "So, that was what this was about." She whispered, "Ethan! I don't love him! It's not like that!" She yelled, trying to reason with him. "You're everything to me! I would never betray you like that!"

[Silent Scream]

(Thankiez!)

"Really...?" Ethan muttered with a dark chuckle "Why are you doing this to me?! Just tell me! I know already... You like HIM not me... Don't let me down easy... Just tell me... PLease!"

"I'm telling you the truth Ethan! He came onto me when we were at the store! It wasn't me at all! It...I just can't believe you don't even trust me that much...I thought that we were supposed to trust each other..." Her voice slowly trailed off, tears slipping down her cheeks. She turned around, walking away from the door, moving upstairs and into her room, locking the door. The world was crashing down again, spiraling around her, a brilliant shade of violet intermixing with the blue. Purple blood with blue stained tears.

(I'm going to go to sleep in a few minutes...^_^)

"Sorry," Ethan said after she left "I just keep messing up... It seems like no matter what I do.. It's wrong... Regardless or how much thought I put into it or how hard I try..."

Alex wrapped her arms around herself, "So...he's gonna leave me to? Just like that...? I just keep...screwing things up...I'm too broken...for anyone to want...there's too many things wrong..." She smiled, "I guess I should just leave now, maybe then, I'll be partially forgiven." She whispered softly, packing all of her things up. She wrote a note and left it on the table, thanking Ethan and his parents for letting her stay there. Then, she grabbed her bags, disappearing out the door, and taking off down the street, disappearing from site.

(Uhmmm... How'd she do that when Ethan's blocking the doorway?XP)

Ethan heard the door shut. He ran down stairs "Helloo?" he opened up the door and looked around, but no one was there. Frantically, he ran up to Alex's room, tapping on the door. Once. Twice. Thrice. (LOVE that word!) No answer. "Alex?" His voice cracked under the weight of his fear.

Alex continued walking, tears streaming down her face. "I've got no where to go, but..." She stopped in front of her old house, it hadn't been foreclosed by the bank yet. Slowly, she took the key hidden under the planter, and slipped it into the front door, walking in. The furniture was all gone, leaving her with simply unpleasant memories of times she never wants to remember. She dropped her things, shutting the door behind her, and sliding down the wall.

He opened the door slowly..... Empty room. He swore under his breath and ran down the street, a stream of curses spewing from his mouth 'where would Alex go?' he thought 'the woods, Nella's house, or... Her old house!' he grabbed out his cell phone and call Nella. She answered on the first ring.
"Hullo?" she asked
"Hey,Nella,It'sEthan." he was speaking so fast she could hardly hear the words"IsAlexWithYou?!PleaseTellMeShe'sWithYou!I'mInTheWoodsRightNowButI'mNotSeeingHer!"
"Wait, WHAT?! Alex is gone?! What happened?! ETHAN!"
"Answer the question, please, Nella."
"No.. She's not here."
"Are you sure?"
"Unless she's hiding in the toaster.."
"Okay,ThankYouSoMuchIGottaGoBye!" He hung up, already on his way.
