Not many understand the comfort I get when I walk into a bookstore and take a deep breath as I look around. I feel at home; I feel welcome. I don't have to purchase anything. Being surrounded by books fills me with a sense of security.

Keylee sighed. All she could think about was the day of her ultrasound when they first told her Toby had a birth defect and that even if he made it and she hadn't miscarried him, he might not live longand his immune system wouldn't be as strong. Maybe something was really wrong and it was just a headache or something small.
