Bella hadn't heard the door since she was busy 'talking' to Jude. "Did you like the seals?!" She asked.

Jude squealed, grinning as he thrashed his arms.

Kailyn laughed.

Dimka opened the door and peeked in. "Bells?"

Jude squealed when he heard Dimka.

Kailyn quickly ended the skype session.

Bella looked up. "Hey."

Dimka looked at her. "So... Mom told me Kailyn left. She's missing, could be anywhere."

Bella sighed. "I know...I really miss her dad. I wish I knew where she was." She said, lying. It might have been the first time she'd ever lied to Dimka.

"So do I," he said. "The three of them could be dead in a ditch and we wouldn't know," he said.

"If I knew where she was do you honestly think I'd still be sitting here?!" She asked.

"Yes, I do. Mom told me you're the only one she talks to and I heard you skyping with her," he said. "Breaking my heart, you guys are."

"You were spying on me?!" She yelled. "Thanks!" She said, getting up. "Most parents trust their kids, but then again you and mom aren't like most parents. Did you ever think that maybe Kailyn doesn't want to be found, or she is old enough to make her own decisions?" She asked.
