Littletail purred, amused, then walked to the Fresh-kill.

Dawnpaw, Duskpaw, Fogpaw, Stormpaw, and Smokepaw darted over to the deputy. "We're going to be warriors soon," Dawnpaw meowed with a flick of her tail. "Yeah," Fogpaw meowed as she hopped up and down. "We also know what our warrior names are going to be," Duskpaw meowed as he flicked his ears. "Want to hear?" Stormpaw and Smokepaw asked at the same time.

"My name is going to be Dawnflower," Dawnpaw meowed. "Because I'm the prettiest." "You are not," Fogpaw meowed with a lash of her tail. "Anyway, my name is going to be Fogcloud." "Mine is going to be Duskstrike," Duskpaw meowed as he pounced at Dawnpaw. "Because I'm the best fighter." "Yeah right," Dawnpaw meowed as Stormpaw darted forward. "My warrior name is going to be Stormclaw because I'm the better fighter." "My name is going to be Smokepelt," Smokepaw meowed with a small nod. "Because my fur is the color of smoke."
