jack wilder launched forward from him bed; breathing heavily and sweat rolling down his forehead. He looked down to see Allison still sleeping. Waking her would be rude. Jack decided to run out and see if the others woke up. if they said he was crazy he wouldn't wake Allison. If they to shared the dreams he would wake her from her current nightmare; her mother. Jack practically kicked the door down then ran into Daniel and Henley's room without knocking. they were both awake Daniel looked just as bad as he did. "Did you dream it too?!" he half yelled half coughed due to a morning voice that cracked. They both nodded; didn't even speak a word. "She's still asleep!" said jack turning around and running back into his room. "Allison!" he leaned by the end of the bed and shook her lightly. she didn't wake and he shook her harder. "Allison wake up." he wanted to rescue her from her nightmare.

daniel atlas opened his eyes to see his ceiling. he defiantly was calm but shaking. he breathed in deeply and sat up slowly. if he was correct and not crazy little jack would be running in to see if it was real. he looked over at Henley and saw her stirring. "did you have that dream too?" he asked her as soon as the door opened and; of course; jack came running in. when jack asked them if he had the dream he said yes, then ran back to wake Allison. Daniel wondered more about Allison's dream but respected her enough not to ask. he felt bad for her. he knew of jacks story and it wasn't so nice. but Allison's mom was never nice. maybe that's why she handles it so well, she's use to it. jack snot so every time a mother is mentioned or father he gets awkward and sad. Allison has to deal with it; he should say something to her.

allison peck could feel someone shake her, but she was stuck in a place between dreams and reality. She saw her mother's face, but heard Jack's voice. At last she pushed herself awake, her green eyes flying open. She gasped, throwing herself into Jack's arms and burying her face in his shoulder. "You dreamed it, too?" When he said yes she shivered. "What was that? How did we all dream the same thing?" She pulled back to look at his face and took a deep breath. She was afraid they might still be dreaming, but she could feel the air from the fan above and smell Jack's warm scent. She was definitely awake, but her muscles were still tense with worry and fear as she remembered all of those nightmares. Henley dying, Jack and Henley being "lost" in that sinkhole. She slid off of the bed and took Jack's hand. "We should talk to the others," she said, pulling him into the living room where Merritt was already waiting.

henley reeves woke up just as Jack came running in. She nodded yes when he asked about the dream. As the boy ran off she looked over at Danny. She probably looked pale and shaken, but she kissed him and hugged him tight for a moment, calming herself down. It was okay, they were all awake. They could figure out what happened and make sure it didn't happen again. She stood, pulling her hair back and looking down at him. She bit her lip before saying, "Do you have any idea what just happened?" She knew he would say no but she had to ask. She wondered if Merritt was up yet, and then heard Allison's voice in the hallway. "We should join them," she murmured, waiting for him to go first.

jack wilder nodded and when she pulled him outside he saw Merritt. They both stood there for a while then finally at the same time they walked close and jack hugged Merritt, Merritt finally hugged back too shy to admit they were all freaked out. Jack pulled away awkwardly nodding and sat down on the couch. he saw Daniel come out and felt better already. The boss was here, they were okay, Daniel would know what to do. Jack looked up waiting to hear something from them. It was weird. The coffee was not on, the T.V. was off, the evil cat in their house was still asleep and not asking for food, but worst of all. It was quiet. Deathly silent. no word; no whisper; only the sound of jacks still heavy breathing.

daniel atlas walked out holding Henley's hand. jack was still in shorts; so was Merritt [ ew ] and Daniel. Henley had a long t-shirt on and Allison a little nightgown. usually they were all dressed and ready to go besides jacks bedhead. but Daniel didn't even worry. things were too serious. everyone looked over at him as if expecting him to say something. "what?" he said in defense. everyone sighed as if hoping he would say ha ha tricked ya. "there's nothing I can do. I assure you your all awake now; I pinched myself when I woke up and felt it. There's nothing I can do to stop the dreams from coming again but I can be the first to fall asleep. New rule around here; no one is to fall asleep tonight, only me. When I wake up I'll tell you if it's safe to sleep. It might still happen to you, but if it doesn't happen to me there's a higher chance it won't to you." he had nothing else to say and the only response he got for five minuets was a nod from jack. finally the evil cat, Loki, that only liked Daniel came outside and hissed for food. not meowed, hissed.

allison peck frowned, twisting her hair in her fingers. Daniel was willing to suffer first, as always. What if he got stuck in a nightmare, but they weren't around to help him? At least last time she was there to...to what? All she did was scream, hide, and watch him try to find his girlfriend. She looked over at the cat, not wanting to meet Daniel's eyes. "I'm gonna get cleaned up," she said, and left the living room. She wondered if Jack would follow her or stay and talk to the others. She would have stayed, but she didn't want to think about the nightmares, for fear she would get freaked out again. The only way she could clear her mind was to wash off and get dressed. Maybe curl up on the couch with Jack. She sighed, sitting on the edge of the bed in case Jack followed.

henley reeves folded her arms across her stomach. "Danny, are you sure? You don't have to be the one having more nightmares. I could do it, or Merritt." The older man frowned, but didn't object. Besides, Henley knew that no matter what she said, Daniel would put them before himself. He may have been arrogant and jerky sometimes, but the guy was selfless when it came to protecting the other four. Henley desperately wanted to sleep after a night without rest, but she couldn't. She thought about going to get coffee, but the cat was standing in front of the counter, and she wouldn't make that mistake twice. She still had scars on her ankles.

jack wilder stood up slowly and quietly edited the room. he decided the best thing to do would be to pretend nothing had changed. he walked into his room and closed the door quietly. "I was thinking, we should share a room and leave the next room as a guest room/ I am not sleeping with you tonight because I am mad room." he smiled and sat down. I have a giant dresser with 9 drawers. I use two. I think they need some girl clothes in there. " he looked over at the dresser looking at the two drawers he used. "I have an empty closet too and I know you have TONS of band posters. I have no posters because I am a dude. " he looked over at her and smiled again his hair still messy.

daniel atlas looked over at her. "you know I am going to say no. besides I'll want to see and get it over with." he shrugged and walked over to Henley. he grabbed her hand and leaned so his forehead was touching hers. "lets just forget abut it. I think that's what jack's doing. he's right. no point in ruining our relaxed time worrying about it. if it happens again we would wish we used this one wisely." Merritt grumbled and Daniel sighed looking back. "go get your own girlfriend. oh wait you can't your old. Merritt was about to complain but figured it was useless; it was true. Daniel looked back at Henley and lead her into the kitchen. "if you were stuck in the dream forever and got to come here once. what thing would you notice first, what makes you happy? the coffee running? dishes running? jack, Allison and Merritt chatting quietly with the T.V. on? jack stealing some bites of the breakfast before it's done? opening the bedroom door to a bright living room? anything what is it?" he wanted to know so he could give her that.

allison peck looked at Jack and felt a smile growing on her face. Her green eyes had been dark from fear and worry, but now they lightened. She wrapped her arms around his waist, squeezing tight as she could, though her arms were twigs compared to his muscle. She put her chin on his chest and looked up at him, his warm brown eyes framed by impossibly thick lashes, squinted in a smile. "Know what's funny? I always used to hate girls with a lot of clothes. Then I got money. Now I have a horrible addiction to matching. Like If I get a blue shirt I have to get blue Converse to match or I go crazy. Well, crazier." She laughed. "And your closet walls will be so covered in posters you'll forget what color the walls were. You have no idea what you're getting into." She couldn't help noticing how Jack always knew how to make her feel better. How quickly he could turn a morning of panic into a morning of happiness.

henley reeves knew he was right about worrying. They would waist the day if she kept thinking about it. So she put the dreams out of her mind and just leaned against Danny so they were pressed together almost completely. She was cold, like always, and he was so warm. The heat went straight to her bones and she replied to his question about happiness. "There are a lot of things that make me happy. All the things you said. It makes me feel good, watching them talk or eat or whatever. Like I'm doing something useful by cooking their food. I don't know, I just like taking care of people. But the most?' She didn't even have to think about it. "We could live in a tiny little box with no internet and as long as I opened my eyes and saw you, I would be blissful." Totally cheesy, totally true. From the day she met Daniel she felt the weird reliance on him. Like if there was something bad going on, he could walk in and everybody relaxed. He would fix it. At the time she also worried he would yell at her about the problem, but that was okay. Now she just felt butterflies whenever he said her name. Normally she was independent and fierce. She relied on nobody and wasn't afraid to start a fight. But if he was around, she was clay in his hands. "If you want to give me something, just stand here."

jack wilder chuckled slightly but not enough to get a laugh out then looked around his room. dark blue walls; defiantly in need of posters. "I think the walls need it more than the closet. But if you have One Direction or Justin Bieber I think they will go fine in the closest behind your clothes." he looked down at her his brown eyes shinning and arm laying around her shoulder. his fingers absently taped on her shoulder as he thought about bands he wouldn't mind having up there. Entertainment, My Chemical Romance, Lorde, The Beatles, Paramore. Those were something Allison might like or he figured she did. "I am hungry." he said lifting his head up his eyes widening. foods coming to his mind making his mouth water.

daniel atlas let his lip lift a little the more she spoke. such a easy going person, so kind putting people before herself. she spoke of helping people and he knew what she meant. if he let her she would pick jacks outfit every day. If Daniel asked she would more than likely do it for him. he sighed leaning away and then back to her, rocking on his feet. "just stand there? well, that's boring. how about I do this." he leaned away then leaned closer to her and stopped rocking then kissed her forehead, her nose, then her lips and pulled away. "we should do something. something we would never do together. like go to a zoo. what adult wants to go there besides jack? I think it would be interesting."

allison peck laughed at the Justin Bieber comment and looked towards the door. "We can go raid the fridge. I think there are still leftovers, we could heat those up? I don't know if Henley is cooking anything until later." She tried to get a handle on Henley's mood- love, as always. Amusement, thoughtfulness. Anticipation. Maybe she and Daniel were planning something? "We shouldn't bother her," she cocked her head and checked on Merritt, but he pushed her out forcefully. Grumpy much? Allison tried to make him happy, but he kept her out again, so she gave up and focused on Jack again. She knew he hated reheating food sometimes,

henley reeves couldn't help laughing at what he said. "Sorry, hold on. You, in a zoo? You would hate all the germs. For one thing, when you go in the lines are usually thick and you have to touch people. Not to mention the animals are pretty dirty." She smiled. "But I love animals, so it's up to you. If you think you can handle the cooties, we should go." She tickled his neck when she said cooties, giving a grin full of mischief. She looked up at him, wishing she were taller but then thinking being short wasn't so bad. He didn't seem to care either way.

jack wilder suddenly thought of the best thing to do. "I know what to do!" He said the thought of food dissapearing. "Me and you go tothat new hobby dating site and lets make a profile. "We should name ourselves: Dean Gulberry." Jack smiled trying to not laught but in the end he stiffled a little laugh cough because of what the name sounded like. "Just repeat that word ten times and tell me what that sounds like. " he opened up his laptop that was on the bottom of the bed. "We can live in alaska!"

daniel atlas looked over her Henley his eyebrows furrowed. "germs do bother me but Henley reeves I did considerate and thought it would be more fun us going to on worse adventure of our lives then looking back at it in the future and missing it. besides jacks probably hungry." Daniel shrugged and didn't care what Henley chose to do. He walked into the kitchen and went over to the coffee. "Could you teach me?" He asked her and grabbed her hannd pulling her toward the counter.

allison peck couldn't stop laughing as she sat down next to Jack. "I don't need to repeat it, I know what it sounds like. Wait, how are we gonna get a profile picture? Just grab some random guy's face off google?" She put her chin on his shoulder so she could watch him make the profile. It wasn't hard, and the site only required a name and location. Not email or anything. Not that it would have been a problem, it was easy enough to make a fake email. She frowned realizing that she never even questioned Jack. Most girls would be like "why on earth should we make some random dating profile?" But she just laughed and went with it.

henley reeves grinned. She slowly showed him how to make coffee the way he liked it, while at the same time replying to his earlier offer. "Hey, if you wanna go to the zoo, it's good with me.Like I said, I love animals. Here." She put the mug of fresh coffee in his hand and smiling she said, "Want me to show you again, or you got it?" She figured he probably knew what to do now, he learned faster than just about anybody. You could show him a card trick once and he would be able to do it better than you. She leaned against the counter and tucked her hair behind her ear, her eyes wandering to the balcony, where a pigeon stood perched on the railing. As she watched it flew away, and she turned back to Danny, wondering what he was thinking and where the others where.
