Henley just rolled her eyes, serving. She sat down at one end of the table, watching as they all sat down. When they started eating, she ate her food quietly. She didn't want to draw any attention to herself. Jack and Merritt both knew who Vanessa was, and no doubt they would pick on her for it.

"This is good" Daniel said smiling. He looked at Henley with concern. She didn't look happy. He sighed and finished then sat on the couch with Vanessa she grabbed his hand and started to play with it making it talk. Daniel rolled his eyes making his hand say. "Please don't touch me" Vanessa laughed and sat on his lap. "No!" He mumbled glaring

Washing the dishes after dinner, she glanced over out of the corner of her eye. Apparently Vanessa was having a great time..With a frustrated sigh, she finished the dishes before walking quickly into her room. She shut the door behind her, careful not to let it slam. She sat hard on her bed, not sure how she felt.

"You okay?" Daniel asked knocking on the door. Vanessa came up. "Go away." He said to Vanessa. "No don't touch me." He said pushing her hand away from him.

Heaing a sigh, Henley called back, "Yeah...I'm fine." It was a complete lie, but still. She looked at the door, able to hear vanessa's whining that Daniel go cuddle with her or something.

He sighed looking around."Can I come in?" He asked knocking again. Vanessa was annoying him. "If I give you what you want will you go away?" He asked her. She said yes and Daniel walked away to the front door. A couple second later he came back. "Henley? You seem down. I am...I am ... Worried." He admitted not knowing that it was because of him.

She sniffed a little. Making sure both she and her room looked okay, she opened her door. there he stood, not even knowing. She gestured for him to come in.

He walked in scratching the back of the neck. "So um" he wiped something pink off his face. "What's wrong?"

Turning away, she walked over to her huge window, leaning against the windowframe and rubbing her arms. "Daniel." She said, hesitant. "The only thing you can do to help me out is something you never would. So don't worry about me. I'm sure Vanessa is lonely without you."
