[fly away.]

Evan grumbled, waiting until Alec had his handcuffs on. Then the cop led them out, he shook his head. Once they were in the car, Evan looked at the older boy. "I'm sorry.. You have to hate me.." He muttered. He looked down at the handcuffs, having always hated the things.

Eden looked at Jenny, and the owner stormed away. "Did you know that he stole the necklace?" She asked the girl. She hated having to see the two boys of the house be led out in handcuffs.

Alec sighed, leaning his head against the door of the car. "It's not your fault. I chose to do it, it was my idea. My fault." he mumbled, closing his eyes. If he'd been more careful or done something different-or, better yet, not helped the kid-he would be perfectly fine. Perhaps Evan would be too. He'd got them caught.

Jenny shook her head. "No... he told me he didn't take it, and he was being weird." she sighed gently, feeling her shoulders slump down. Having been lied too never felt good, especially about something like that.

[fly away.]

"I always f--- everything up.." Evan said softly, closing his eyes, and leaning his head back. Anger racked his brain, he was so upset with himself and cops and the world for giving him the rotten luck of the lot. He shook his head, before opening his eyes to stare out the window. He kicked the seat in front of him, the driver's seat, in anger.

Eden sighed, "When he came to us he looked guilty.. Maybe he was afraid you'd judge him or something, like I did.." She pulled a hand through her tangles, shaking her head. She hobbled into the kitchen.

Alec put his leg in front of Evan's, trying to keep him from injuring himself. "Evan, calm down." he growled. The fear was getting to him. He wasn't mad, just scared. His hands were shaking and he wished he could just melt away and disappear.

Jenny didn't say anything, just hurried off to her room.

[fly away.]

Evan shook his head, closing his eyes again. He was so stupid, why did he always have to mess up everything? He couldn't do anything right, could he? He bit down on his lip, cutting it open again. He brought up his arms to wipe the blood off on his sleeves. "Handcuffs are very inconvenient.." he muttered, almost to himself.

Alec looked over at Evan, seeing the blood from his lip. "Evan, stop biting your lip. Just try to calm down." he said. Despite his calm tone, he was completely scared. This was his first time ever being in a cop car-ever caught doing something wrong.

[fly away.]

Evan however, was freaking out because he had been in cop cars before. He'd been caught before and knew how awful it was. If they didn't send you right to some Juvie for holding, they put you into a holding cell at the station. He hated being caught doing something wrong. "Calm down," he laughed incredulously, "We're going to jail.. I can't calm down."

Alec grumbled a bit, moving his leg from in front of Evan. "Either calm down or shut up." he groaned, a bit annoyed by him. After getting the two into trouble he was freaking out. This did little good for the oldest, making his heart pound faster and his palms sweat more.

[fly away.]

Evan glared over at the older boy. He wanted to push a hand through his hair, but his handcuffs didn't really allow him to do that. No matter how many times he got arrested, he would freak out inside and want to die. He bit down on hi lip as he watched them pull into the station, his green eyes studying the building. "I hate cop stations," he muttered to himself.

With a sigh, Alec looked over at him again. "We're going to be alright. If I get sent to juvie and then end up in jail... well, I had a good run. You'll get out of this somehow." he tried to reassure him. His foot was tapping as the cop came around, first pulling him out of the vehicle before moving on to Evan.
