    Camp Half-Blood, Half-Blood Hill, Farm Road 3.141
    Long Island, New York 11954

    Welcome back to another year at Camp Half-Blood. Your past summers here have been fun, yes? You've enjoyed meeting people who have faced similar struggles as you, participating in camp activities such as rock climbing and kayaking across the river. You've learned the art of the sword, or perhaps another weapon of your choice. You've been to sing-alongs around the camp fire, you've loved, and perhaps you've even lost.

    Unfortunately, this year will not be the same as the previous years. We've been forced to take extreme precautionary measures due to the circumstances we have been facing here at Camp. Allow me to explain our predicament. Recently, for unknown reasons, the boundaries protecting Half-Blood Hill are not functioning properly. The magic is fading, and monsters are invading Camp. So far we have suffered countless casualties and even a few unfortunate deaths of our beloved demigods. After being briefed about the situation, a handful of campers turned on their heels and returned to their homes, claiming that it was safer there.

    Perhaps they are right. Right now, Camp Half-Blood is quite the dangerous location. Since it is so early into the summer season, not many have arrived and many have left. The head-counselors of each cabin have luckily been kind enough to arrive early if they are only summer campers or remain to protect the others. The once save haven for demigods is almost like a war zone at the moment. Almost all activities have been dropped completely. Campers are expected to eat on their own time and investigate the mystery and/or fight against monsters for the rest of the day.

    I would not blame you if you turn around and run home like the others. But if you decide to stay at Camp Half-Blood, please understand the danger that you are putting yourself it.

    Yours truly,

    Chiron

---------------The basic information

{{ Full Name;
    Aaron Chester Cox
{{ Nickname;
    "People usually just call me Aaron. You get a gold star if you can think of a nickname for Aaron other than some lame-o name like 'A'. I'm totally being dead serious."
{{ Gender;
    "If you can't tell that I'm a dude by looking at me or hearing my voice...well, then you might have a duller mind than yours truly."
{{ Age;
    "I'm seventeen years old as of right now; for a demigod, I'm on a roll!"
{{ Birthday;
    "January first...yeah, I'm one of those New Year babies."
{{ Mortal Family;
    "Well, I've got a mother named Anna and no step-father or other siblings besides those here at camp. I also have a grandma and a grandpa on Mom's side; their names are Francis and Bill."
{{ Godly Parent;
    "Good ol' Daddy Zeus...please, don't tell him that I said that. If you do he'll zap me from his throne in Olympus."

---------------How you look

{{ Description;
    Aaron stands at an average height, however there are a handful of demigods at camp who tower over him. Even so, he maintains a more than average physique and is lean and muscular, although his muscles are nothing over-the-top. Instead, Aaron is strong enough to keep up with camp activities and then some, but he is certainly not capable of taking on an Ares camper in a fight. His hair is the stereotypical black of a child of Zeus; he keeps it long enough to cover his forehead and hide a scar over his left eyebrow that he received from a past quest. The scar doesn't really bother him, so it isn't uncommon to see Aaron with messy hair sticking out in multiple directions. He tends to run a hand through his hair quite a lot during the day, which unintentionally creates a messier appearance.
    As for his facial features, Aaron's skin is relatively pale by nature, but during the summer when he is out in the sun for hours at a time he gains a bit of color in his pigmentation. The summer sun also reveals a collection of freckles that wash over his pale complexion. Aaron's eyes are a pale, but still very vivid, blue color. Like other children of Zeus, Aaron's eyes are intimidating, but the intensity from his eyes is usually undermined by the friendly smile on his face.
{{ Height;
    "I'm five foot eight and for some reason I get teased mercilessly about it. I'm not that short!"

---------------Getting more personal

{{ Personality;
    This son of Zeus is basically your average extrovert. He's loud, but not obnoxious (well occasionally his loudness might come across as obnoxiousness), and is extremely charismatic. Aaron can talk for hours on end about anything at all. Due to his status as a child of one of the Big Three, Aaron is well aware of the fact that he is supposed to be a role model for the rest of the demigods at camp. He is an extremely responsible individual and will do his best to diligently complete any task that is bestowed upon him. Not only that, but Aaron is also a very loyal friend who will stand by anyone to the end. Aaron tends to think that he lives up to the expectation Chiron outlined for him quite well; the black haired young man is always present to introduce himself to any new camper with a welcoming smile and thoroughly enjoys giving newbies tours of camps as well as helping them get settled into their cabins. Aaron has an immensely kind heart.
    Aaron is rarely ever angry and is seen as a happy-go-lucky person. However, no one (especially demigods) is perfect, which includes this particular demigod. While it takes a lot to set Aaron off, he has been highly irritated in the past. During such times, he prefers to be alone and keeps himself inside of his cabin; Aaron has never let anger get the best of him yet and he would like to live the rest of his life that way.
    This demigod is a sweet boy, but he isn't exactly the most intelligent. His kindness and gregariousness unfortunately does not suffice for the fact that Aaron is certainly no child of Athena. For the most part, Aaron functions by listening to his instincts or doing whatever it takes to save a friend or ally--he has ended up injured several times from jumping in front of a monster or adversary in order to defend a friend, which plays into that endless loyalty of his. Strategy is certainly not his strong suit, so he often relies on anyone else to develop a plan of procedure to follow.
    Due to the fact that Aaron is such kind soul, he likes to make others smile. Oftentimes the son of Zeus will make a fool out of himself with the help of the Hermes cabin or any of his closer friends to make people laugh. During the most relaxed or the most harsh times, any camper can surely rely on Aaron to crack a joke or make a silly face.
{{ History;
    There's a reason why Aaron is such a happy-go-lucky individual who loves to make people laugh. The son of Zeus grew up in a small town in Florida where his mother, Anna, was very ill from Hera's wrath; the goddess was angry that Zeus had yet another affair so she took out her anger on Anna Cox. Anna was hospitalized since he can remember, so Aaron grew up with his mother's parents, Francis and Bill, visiting his mother on a regular basis. From an early age, Aaron enjoyed making people laugh; nothing made him happier than seeing his mother smile, so he decided to be goofy and make her laugh whenever he made one of his frequent visits to her in the hospital. When Aaron was eleven, monsters began to show up; unfortunately, since he was such a clown of a child, no one believed what he had to say. Well, no one but his mother believed him. Anna Cox knew that Aaron's father was the Greek god, Zeus (and knew Hera caused her illness), and she requested that her parents send Aaron off to a summer camp in New York. Aaron soon became a year long camper and his grandparents are still unaware of the fact that he is a demigod child of Zeus. Even now at age seventeen, Aaron is a year long camper and does his best to visit him sickly mother at least once a year.

---------------You as a demigod

{{ Weapon;
    "Call me lame all you want, but I just like to fight with a regular sword. Nothing fancy's all, just a celestial bronze sword and I'm good to go. There's nothing like the feel of a perfectly balanced sword in your hand--man, it's just great. Not even charmed; I keep a sheath with me when I need to take it somewhere."
{{ Special Abilities;
    "I've got the basic powers of a Zeus kid. Well, they're not really basic because not all campers can do the same stuff as me, but anyway, yeah. I'm obviously able to manipulate the Mist, which is something that I've perfected, but I can also control lightning. I've gotten pretty good at that and can shock people at all sorts of intensities! Not that I would actually ever do that to anyone, I'm a nice guy, remember?"
{{ Fatal Flaw;
    "Well, that's a bit of a personal question, don'tcha think? But if you really have to know (no going to the Titans with this info, okay? They'd totally use it against me) my fatal flaw is most likely the fact that I have a need to please others, so I kind of put other people's needs before my needs a lot...it's a bad habit, but if it is my fatal flaw, then that's nothing I can change, yeah? I'm going to pretend you responded with a 'yeah' finish this questionnaire off."

---------------The basic information

{{ Full Name;
    Shay Allan Robinson.
{{ Nickname;
    "Call me Shay--nah scratch that, you know what? Call me the King of Pranks. Just the King works, too."
{{ Gender;
    "Yesterday I was a dude and today...wait, lemme check...yup! Still a guy!"
{{ Age;
    "I'm nineteen, so that makes me one of the older campers here. You'd better respect your elders, sonny boy!"
{{ Birthday;
    "March sixth. In other words, the greatest day of the year other than April Fool's Day."
{{ Mortal Family;
    "Oh gods where to begin..well my mother's name is Maria Robinson and I had a step-dad named Christopher Adams, but I'll explain what hapened to him later. My stepsister is sixteen, her name's Abigail. Then I've got four half-sisters at home. Annie's nine, Presea is eleven, Sophie is twelve, and Michelle is thirteen...it's a pretty girly household."
{{ Godly Parent;
    "Welcome to Cabin Eleven, home of good everyone's favorite Hermes children!"

---------------How you look

{{ Description;
    Shay stands at six feet tall (he claims that he's three millimeters under the six foot one mark) and is incredibly lanky. He has muscles, yes, but his limbs are very long giving him the appearance that he has little muscle mass whatsoever. He looks like one of the kids that randomly shot up height-wise in middle school when puberty came along; he never seemed to grow into his body. Other than that, Shay Robinson has a mop of blonde hair that sits on top of his head. His hair never seems to sit the right way, yet he never takes the time to fix it up. He thinks that his sloppy hair has some kind of "boyish charm" when in reality it just looks ridiculously messy; his mother back home would have a fit if she saw his hair the way he tends to keep it.
    Hermes children wildly range in appearance, and unless they are related on the mortal side, no two really look alike that much; they're kind of like snowflakes if you want to think of it that way. His eyes are a very pale green, yet they always have a mischievous gleam in them which can easily cause some of the younger campers to run away in fear; anyone who knows Shay knows that he brings trouble with him. Surprisingly his middle name is not Troublesome. Shay also has a regular complexion; he's pale but the sun adds some color to his skin. From an event in his past, Shay has a scar that runs across his long torso.
{{ Height;
    "I'm just about six foot one and I'm still growing. It's not over yet!"

---------------Getting more personal

{{ Personality;
    Shay doesn't seem to take anything seriously in his life at all. He's extremely goofy, and even that would be an understatement. Shay is a troublemaker alright, it's practically his middle name. The tall blonde boy always has a sly grin on his face and a mischievous glint in his eyes; he seems to bring chaos with him in prank form wherever he goes. He has a great sense of humor and is always up for a good laugh; Shay also has extremely quick wits and uses those in advantage to crack jokes as well as plan, play, and get away with all of the pranks that he pulls on his fellow demigods of Camp Half-Blood. He claims that he is approaching his five hundredth successful prank in a row, but no one can prove such a record because he would never allow even a single soul near his precious Shay Robinson's Encyclopedia of Prankitude. Not even his closest friend. Shay is ridiculously protective over that single notebook which is overflowing with extra papers; it has to be the 20th volume of the so called Encyclopedia. He also tends to be very sarcastic around people, though it is never an attack towards a person and is rarely ever passive aggressive.
    Shay Robinson also claims to be a man of the ladies because of the fact that he grew up in a household with six woman and hardly any men. Shay actually does have a more sensitive side to him and he is caring at heart; he knows how to properly deal with female kind--especially teenage girls. His five younger sisters at home make that his specialty. Though another reason why girls apparently fall for Shay is the fact that he's so goofy, endearing, and entertaining. His lame, cheesy pickup lines are another thing. Shay once scored himself a date by asking: How much does a polar bear weigh? Enough to break the ice! He doesn't always admit that his sensitive side exists, though, especially when he's hanging out with the guys.
    Shay also has a darker side to him; his is brutally honest and will always say what is on his mind. He sees no need for lies and doesn't tell them unless the lies are in a joking manner. Never expect Shay to lie to make someone feel better about him/herself. He is known for telling the situation as it is and doesn't take sob stories at all due to the events of his past. In fact, sob stories are his biggest pet peeve and he will not pity someone unless their back story and history is actually depressing enough to make someone like him upset. If it involves a dead puppy, you can count on his sympathy. But back to the regular Shay, he will go ridiculously far for a good laugh and has been through countless consequences for doing so in the past. And finally, the blonde is a terrible artist and his prank plans consist of crudely drawn stick figures that only he can seem to interpret. He claims it's a code for only himself, though no one can be sure when the name 'Richard' can also be seen as 'Charlotte.'
{{ History;
    Shay grew up in a somewhat small town in Vermont with his mother, Maria, who remarried to a man named Christopher Adams when Shay was only six years old. Christopher already had a daughter named Abigail who was three at the time. For the next couple of years until Shay was twelve, he and Christopher grew very close; his step-father was the only man in the house and the only man in Shay's life. Over the years, Christopher and Maria had Shay's four younger half-sisters. Currently Michelle is thirteen, Sophie is twelve, Presea is eleven, Aimee is nine, and his step-sister, Abigail, is sixteen. With six women running around the house, the two, Christopher and Shay, were always kept on their toes. Shay really did consider Christopher to be his father even if they weren't related by blood. He looked up to his step-father and learned a few things, too. Christopher had a habit of pulling pranks, and Shay took his step-father's advice into mind when becoming the master prankster that he is.
    One day in the winter a week after Shay's thirteenth birthday, Christopher was driving Shay home during a minor blizzard from going ice fishing at a frozen lake; a favorite activity of the two. While driving home, a hell hound sensed a demigod's presence; the monster pounced on the hood of the car when it was in drive, causing the car to veer out of control and crash. In the accident, Chrstipher was killed instantly and Shay was severely injured; he now has a scar running across the entire length of his tall torso. After these events, his mother (who knew about Shay's father being Hermes) sent Shay to Camp Half-Blood where he could learn to protect himself. Shay went in order to keep his family out of danger and to learn how to become a man so he could protect them.

---------------You as a demigod

{{ Weapon;
    "I use a basic style for the most part. I fight with a shield with a snake printed on it; the snake is a symbol of my father--I mean, he has those two snakes that just chill with him...Martha and George or something like that. Anyway, there's a dagger on the back that snaps into place so I can take it out easily and store it easily as well. When I'm not using it, the shield with the dagger in back shrinks into a black faced watch that I always keep around my left wrist. It changes into the shield form when I press the glass face of the watch."
{{ Special Abilities;
    "My impeccable pranking skills are a power of mine that's pretty great, but if you actually want a legitimate ability of mine I've perfected teleportation and can do that in a cinch. So I'm pretty much a wizard. Feel free to applaud."
{{ Fatal Flaw;
    "I take my pranks a bit too far sometimes...once I did something to the Demeter cabin that they claim to be 'unspeakable'. They like to pretend it never happened. While it's one of my most proud achievements, no Demeter kid talked to me until the next summer after that prank."

---------------The basic information

{{ Full Name;
    Freya Quinn Aldaine.
{{ Nickname;
    "Just Freya is fine, really. My friends call me 'Frey' or something in that league."
{{ Gender;
    "I'm a girl if you couldn't tell from the hair or body."
{{ Age;
    "I just recently turned seventeen."
{{ Birthday;
    "October fifteenth is my birthday; you really don't have to do anything for me. Really."
{{ Mortal Family;
    "The only family I have is my mother, Gina. I was an only child, well, besides my siblings at Camp."
{{ Godly Parent;
    "My father is Dionysus; please don't think that all I do is drink; I've got an individual personality thank you very much."

---------------How you look

{{ Description;
    Freya has light brown hair with a handful of natural blonde highlights. The girl keeps it at a length falling just below her shoulders, and it is relatively straight and easy for her to maintain. However it parts naturally after taking a shower is how she will wear it until the next washing. She has a somewhat pale complexion; her skin only gains a bit of a tanned color in the sun and loses that acquired color within the duration of the week. Her eyes are hazel, and depending on how you look at them they're more brown, green, blue, or any combination of the three. The most common color is blue, though. All of the possible hues of her eyes are very dark and will look like some shade of dark brown from a distance. Freya is taller than average and slim as well, which causes her to look even taller. She isn't all that muscular, though, as she isn't one of the greatest fighters at Camp.
{{ Height;
    "I'm five foot nine and it seems like I'm still growing. My mother was kind of tall so I assume that I'll end up at about five foot eleven at the most."

---------------Getting more personal

{{ Personality;
    Freya tends to come across as a reserved or outspoken person, but that proves false after speaking with her, even if it's only one time. She is quite the dreamer and has a very broad imagination; Freya is not what you would expect a daughter of Dionysus to be. In fact, she always been a bit embarrassed by her father; especially when he wears one of those hideous leopard or tiger print Hawaiian shirts he seems to be so fond of. Though Freya can read emotions and knows that her father really cares for her, the girl only wants to please her father and feels a bit hurt whenever he calls her a false name like "Francesca Anderson" or "Faith Adams." This doesn't just apply to her father, though; Freya tries too hard to please and impress other people and sometimes forgets about herself.
    The fair haired girl has a likable personality. She is easy to approach and even easier to talk to. She can be a bit quiet when it comes to introductions when meeting new people. Freya knows a lot of individual campers because she helps many of them solve their problems; tweaking with the emotions of others, even if very slight, can make a very large difference when it comes to mediating. This demigod is a very relaxed and calm individual; many think this as their first impression of her. Freya is laid-back and seems to be very down-to-earth, which she is.
    Though Dionysus is the god of theatre, Freya is not an actress. She is, though, an artist of another sort; she loves to sketch and paint and is very talented. Freya's paintings and pictures are all very remarkable. She always seems to have a sketchbook and pencil with her, and on certain beautiful summer days, it isn't uncommon to see Freya outside with an easel and a fresh canvas as she paints the scenes of Camp. Chiron especially has been impressed with her paintings of his Camp Half-Blood and has quite a few of her pieces on display in the Big House. Freya is very modest about her abilities, though, but she seems to be content with a majority of her works
    No matter how simple and kind Freya Aldaine may seem, she has her fair share of negative traits as well, and one very large one at that. Her root problem is a result from her ability sensing and reading the emotions of others from being a daughter of Dionysus. She is much more sympathetic and empathetic than others because of this talent of hers. Though sometimes the emotions are just too much for her; Freya sometimes feels as if she is somewhat insane because each individual emotion is like a single distinctive voice in her head screaming for attention. She herself can be very emotional, and feeling everyone's painful emotions causes her to nearly break down from time to time. Sometimes the girl just has to run off with her sketchpad and be alone for a while before the emotions drive her into insanity and to tears. Freya thinks of love as the most irritating emotion because it demands the most attention from her. Though she doesn't like to admit it, Freya will sometimes bend people's emotions a bit so they stop messing with her head.
{{ History;
    Freya and her mother, Gina Aldaine, are from a very liberal and artsy town in North Carolina by the name of Asheville. Freya inherited her mother's artistic abilities and her talents with the pencil, pen, and paintbrush. Gina Aldaine was extremely serious about her art, though she never seemed to make enough profit off of it to do it professionally. So instead she worked as a bar tender at a popular bar in town where she would occasionally paint portraits of customers for a slight fee. This bustling hot-spot of Asheville is what introduced Gina to Dionysus. One day the god of wine himself stumbled into the bar where Gina fixed him up a drink, which turned into another, which turned into another, which later turned into Dionysus buying her a drink, and I'm sure you can imagine what happened from there. Gina was nowhere near aware that the father of unborn child was a god, and that her unborn child would be leading a very difficult life.
    Once Freya was born, Gina never imagined how difficult it was to raise a child with a job that paid minimum wage. Though her job at the bar was the only thing possible for her, so she kept that occupation and tried to spend as much time with her daughter as possible. Though they had little money to live off of and a small house, Gina would bring home a lot of leftover food from the bar, so they had enough to live off of. From a young age, Freya expressed an interest in art which caused her mother to be overjoyed. She handed all of her old supplies down to Freya and taught the girl everything that she knew about the wonderful realm of art.
    Freya didn't know what she was doing, though whenever her mother was down (which was quite a lot) she was always able to cheer Gina up. As it turns out it's because of the abilities she inherited from Dionysus. Freya led a pretty average life, though she didn't have as much as the other children at her school did. She escaped all of her troubles through art and expressed herself through painting. When the monster attacks started, Gina thought that her daughter was just imagining things (as Freya has a limitless imagination) yet one of her earlier sketchbooks is filled with drawings of the monsters that chased her. She would show the drawings to everyone--her friends and teachers--though they all blew Freya off as a silly little girl with her head in the clouds.
    One day, though, all of the rejection of her reality became too much for her. A thirteen year old Freya waited home for her mother when a monster broke into her house. Freya didn't even have a moment to see what the monster was, she bolted from her semi-destroyed house and ran for as far as she could without turning back. A taxi pulled up to the side of the road with the Gray Sisters inside, and usually Freya would never get in the car with a strange, but she was completely desperate and jumped in for the craziest ride of her life. Almost instantly after arriving at Camp, Freya was claimed by Dionysus, but not in any ordinary method of claiming, no. Dionysus himself, dressed in a Hawaiian shirt stepped over to her and said "This one's mine. Yeah, I remember your mother, Gina or something like that, right? Well anyway I'm Dionysus and you'll be seeing a lot of me." Needless to say, Freya wasn't sure what to think of her first meeting with her father.

---------------You as a demigod

{{ Weapon;
    "Well I really don't have anything special. My weapon isn't nearly as creative or interesting as the other Head Counselors. But I guess mine is a bit unique to Dionysus. I've got a spear that's something like his. Mine is completely covered in poison ivy that wraps around my opponent and the spear tip is injected with deadly poison as well. I keep it in this paintbrush that my mother gave for me; Dean was nice enough to charm my spear into it. Though I only use this when I have to, meaning in the middle of a real battle, so I fight with a simple sword."
{{ Special Abilities;
    "My powers aren't anything extraordinary. Like the Demeter cabin, I grow things wherever I go, though not to as extreme of an extent. My main ability is the fact that I can control the emotions of others as well as read them. I can tell when someone is really angry on the inside and I can change that emotion in a second to happiness or excitement--stuff like that. I really don't like messing with people's heads, though."
{{ Fatal Flaw;
    "People often say that I am too nice...I don't necessarily think that being nice can ever be a bad thing, but being soft and having a conscience like mine would probably prove to be a huge inconvenience during battle."

---------------The basic information

{{ Full Name;
    Lucille Savannah Loret.
{{ Nickname;

{{ Gender;
    "Are you blind? If so I am deeply sorry but it is quite obvious that I'm a girl."
{{ Age;
    "Sixteen years old and...well...that's really all there is to it."
{{ Birthday;
    "I was born on the fourteenth of April. I expect presents now that I have given you notice far in advance."
{{ Mortal Family;
    "My father's name is Gary but I'd prefer not to talk about him in great detail. He's married to a woman I'm supposed to call 'mom' named Anissa and they have two children, Wesley, who is eighteen, and Sam, who is twelve. I get along swimmingly with the boys compared to how I get along with my father...but that doesn't say too much now."
{{ Godly Parent;
    "My mother is Hecate; so I've got the magic in me!...ahem, you heard nothing."

---------------How you look

{{ Description;
    Lucille is a bit of a smaller girl; she stands only a few inches over the five foot mark. To add to that naturally small height, she is slim, yet fit, making her extremely agile. While Lucille may look frail and delicate, looks can be deceiving because the demigod is perfectly capable of judo flipping anyone who comes her way of any height.
    Aesthetically, Lucille is quite pretty. Her complexion is somewhat dark and is free of any blemishes; a sea of darker freckles are spread across her nose but during the summer months those are hardly noticeable. Her hair is a dark brown that is curly by nature, but in the mornings Lucille will refine her curls by doing so herself and fixing her bedhead. This curled hair of Lucille's falls a few inches below her shoulders.
    She also sports a bit of makeup, but not too much. In the mornings Lucille will apply a bit of mascara, some foundation, and a touch of lip gloss. The last thing that Lucille would ever want is to be compared to an Aphrodite girl. She shudders at the thought of it.
{{ Height;
    "I'm only five foot two...yes, yes, poke fun at me all you want, but I wouldn't underestimate me if I were you."

---------------Getting more personal

{{ Personality;
    Lucille is quite the mischievous girl, although she wasn't always that way--but we'll get into that later. The brunette thinks that nothing's better than a good laugh, so she commonly joins forces with the Hermes cabin and wreaks havoc across all of the other demigods' cabins at Camp Half-Blood. She grew close with the children of Hermes during her extended stay in the Cabin before she was claimed by Hecate. In order to be this crafty and sneaky, one must be quite intelligent, and Lucille is certainly no exception. When she was enrolled in school in the mortal world, she was always near the top of her class and succeeded in all of her classes. Now that she is at Camp, it is a bit difficult to recognize her intelligent side when she has such a rebellious streak.
    Apart from that, Lucille can be seen as exclusive person as she is only close friends with a handful of people at Camp, but this does not mean that she doesn't talk to anyone but her friends. Quite the contrary, actually. Lucille will actually talk to just about anyone. She has a habit of drenching her words in sarcasm, so that oftentimes comes across as rudeness which scares people away.
    For a girl who used to be extremely shy growing up, Lucille certainly does an excellent job of hiding it. However deep down, Lucille is quite insecure about a lot of things. She is able to take a joke to an extent, but she will start to be offended if the joke is taken too far. If anyone comments about her height too much, compares her to a daughter of Aphrodite, or even thinks about mentioning her mortal family or her mother in a poor light, that individual had better watch out because Lucille is quite proficient in magic-use; after all, she is the head counselor of the Hecate cabin.
    Finally, Lucille is actually quite caring, if you look deep, deep down. It's something that she will never admit and vehemently denies when confronted about it, but the daughter of Hecate has a family in everyone at Camp and is devastated whenever any camper dies, even if she never spoke to said camper. The spells that Hecate children use are extremely complex and come from old manuscripts, and Lucille has actually dedicated a lot of time for researching all sorts of spells that can be used for protection as well as healing to assist the Apollo campers in their work. When Lucille sets her mind to something, she will pursue that task diligently and even lose quite a lot of sleep over it. However, she does all of this secretly (she even went so far as to casting an invisibility spell on herself to snag a book or two from the Athena cabin so no one would see her). Lucille has a secret reading spot in the woods that is her personal place for practicing and learning magic.
{{ History;
    Lucille wasn't always the outgoing extrovert she is today. She led quite the depressing childhood as a matter of fact where she hardly talked. She always had this personality within her, but Lucille was too afraid to express herself and found herself lacking the courage to be brave and stand up for herself.
    Once upon a time, not too long ago (sixteen years as a matter of fact) in Rhode Island, Gary Loret had an affair with the goddess Hecate. He thought that he covered the affair he had with the mysterious woman one night and even forgot about it. That is, he forgot about it until a living reminder of said affair was left on his doorstep months later--that reminder was none other than a newborn Lucille. As a married man for years with already with a three year old son, Wesley, Gary certainly did not get off too easily. His wife, Anissa, was absolutely furious with him. Their marriage was almost ruined because of Gary's affair with Hecate, and ultimately he blamed his daughter for the inconvenience she caused him. Anissa came from a rich family, so Gary Loret jumped in class by marrying her, and a greedy man such as him was not willing to give up such wealth.
    Gary avoided his daughter at all costs and had a nanny hired to raise Lucille. Once she was old enough, Lucille was sent off to a boarding school in Maine, however, later that year Lucille was expelled as she was causing strange things to happen wherever she went. Little did the Loret family know, but this would be their first experience with Lucille's magic. So from when Lucille was eight to eleven, she was shipped across New England to various different boarding schools but was expelled just as soon. During the process, Anissa and Gary had another son by the name of Samuel, and Anissa was able to convince Gary to let Lucille live with them for the time being.
    When Lucille was eleven, she returned home and found only some solace in her brothers who accepted her. Gary still neglected her, but verbally abused Lucille whenever he saw her. At this point in her life, Lucille was extremely shy and hardly ever spoke, so she couldn't even dream of standing up for herself to her horrid father. So she never did. Just before Lucille turned twelve and after living with her father for an entire year, Hecate came to her in a dream, and with the help of the goddess and the Gray Sisters, Lucille was able to find her way to Camp. She decided once arriving that she would no longer be the timid and reserved girl. Lucille wants to build up her courage and bravery in hopes that she will one day be able to stand up to her father. However, that day will not be coming anytime soon and Lucille has been at Camp for five years straight, only leaving on the occasional quest.

{{ Weapon;
    "I don't really have a weapon. And no, I do not have a wand. This isn't Hogwarts, doofus. No, the spells that I use stem from incantations and special runes, so if anything I do keep a washable pen on me at all times so I can scribble a quick rune or two onto my skin. I can create any weapon from the Mist if I please, which I actually have to do quite commonly, so if so I usually go for some throwing knives; I've actually got wicked aim so watch out. I'm no good with a sword so I get to excuse myself from sword fighting class to practice magic, which is always nice.
{{ Special Abilities;
    Well magic is an impressive feat of its own, yes? Apart from that, there's not much. I'm able to control and manipulate the Mist, which puts me on the same playing field as any child of one of the Big Three."
{{ Fatal Flaw;
    "Ah the final question. My fatal flaw...it could be a number of things. My need to keep certain things secret and do everything on my own is probably it though. I have a thing for wanting to do everything by myself and, well, it's a problem."

{{ Description;
    A description of the appearance of your character
{{ Height;
    "I am six foot three. I guess that I'm sort of tall, but I wouldn't say that I'm above average."

---------------Getting more personal

{{ Personality;
    Alex is a friendly and outgoing person who has a tendency to stick up for his friends and what he believes in. He is not afraid to voice his opinion regardless of who he is talking to. He is kind and caring toward others and will always stand up and help his friends when they are in need. He finds pleasure in helping people and always takes time from his already busy days at camp to do so. Honesty is his policy and he has never been able to tell a lie. People are always able to see right through him when he attempts to lie, which occurs rarely if ever. He is rather sensitive to what others say to him, and can be set off easily. His temper isn't the best, and it only takes a few insults to anger him. He will always defend what he believes in and is not easily swayed to believing something else.
    However, he will do whatever he can to sway other people on his side. Even though he isn't any son of Athena, he is great at persuading others. He has a bad habit of zoning out when he should be listening to something important, and often times when the Poseidon cabin is scheduled for an activity that he doesn't like, he will take them to the Pegasus stables instead. This habit of his frequently gets him in trouble but he doesn't mind and always takes full responsibility for his actions. It almost seems as if he is never able to calm down, and is always full off boundless energy that needs to escape. That's why in his free time he will make sure to practice his sword-fighting skills, because it keeps him moving. He is incredibly loyal to those that are close to him and will always be by their side. No matter what the situation is, he is the type of person who will support them no matter what.
{{ History;
    Alex lived a fairly normal life up until he was ten. Sure, he struggled with his dyslexia and ADHD, but other than that life was calm and peaceful for himself and his mother. His mother was kind and supportive, and tried to understand why her son had more trouble in class than most students. One day when he was walking home from school, one of the three furies recognized his demigod scent and came after him. He panicked, and he had no other choice but to try to avoid the enemy. So he ran breathlessly until he could run no longer. He managed to dodge and fend off the attacks of the fury, but he still received many scars from the battle. He wouldn't have lasted much longer if a satyr hadn't found him at the spot and escorted him to Camp Half-Blood. When summer was over, he ended up visiting his mother and decided to tell her who his father was. Little did he know that this would drive her to the point of insanity, and he eventually ended up returning to Camp Half-Blood early instead of staying with his mother until summer came around. He has been afraid to return home ever since, and therefore has been a year-round camper at Camp Half-Blood for about seven years.

{{ Height;
    "I am five foot six. I would say that I'm not short, but I'm not tall either; so basically I'm right in the middle."

---------------Getting more personal

{{ Personality;
    Isabelle is a calm person who will take many situations lightly. She thinks that if she doesn't worry about something too much, and if she simply pushes her worries aside, then her life will be simpler. However, this isn't always the easiest thing to do, and sometimes she pretends that she has forgotten about something when deep inside she remembers it well. When she has trouble forgetting, she is often seen trying to distract herself with a book. This is basically the reason why she has a fondness for reading. She takes her responsibilities very seriously. She has a habit of planning things ahead, and there usually isn't something she hasn't thought of. She will strictly follow her plans for the Athena cabin for the day, and to her, improvising doesn't exist. If any of her half-siblings arrive late to something, then she will give them a good lecture about appearing on time.
    When meeting someone for the first time, she may appear to be shy. However, once you get to know her, you will realize that she is the complete opposite. She is outgoing and kind, and has a habit of speaking her mind. She has a rather difficult time with keeping her opinions to herself. Sometimes she doesn't realize that her opinion on certain matters is not necessary. But just because she likes to voice her opinion, it doesn't mean that she isn't willing to accept other ideas. She is open to other choices as long as they sound logical. If they don't, then she will try to veer the decision off to something different.
{{ History;
    Isabelle's life was actually quite peaceful at first. She lived peacefully with her father, and he had decided that it would be easier if he home-schooled her on his own instead of sending her to a public school. Often times he read her Greek Myths, and she always found them intriguing. She never exactly understood the reason why, but she always felt some sort of connection to it. She felt as if she should know everything about it, so that's exactly what she was determined to do. She encouraged her father to tell her everything he knew about it, and he did. She already felt more at ease knowing the stories of the gods and the heroic demigods. She loved them so much that when she turned five her father decided to give her a book about it. He had said that it had many legends about the Greek Gods that he didn't know. At first, she didn't believe him because it seemed as if he knew many of the stories. So she was hesitant until she got hooked after reading the first few pages. She had a bit of trouble reading the book with her dyslexia, but it wasn't too difficult for her to read like many other books were. The art was amazing, and there was one fantastic picture of a hydra that she couldn't help but continue to draw.
    Little did Isabelle know that the stories within the book were about to become her reality. When she was six years old, a monster invaded her home. The house that was once a safe place soon became engulfed with flames, and as soon as she discovered that the house was on fire, she desperately searched for her father. She eventually found him lying on the floor helplessly. He wasn't dead, but he appeared to be unconscious. When she looked up, she nearly screamed at the intimidating monster that was looming before her. A silver dagger shaped like a crescent moon suddenly appeared in her hands, and with that dagger I stabbed the monster and it fell to the ground. She dragged her father outside of the house and once they were outside, he explained who I really was. She didn't argue with him, because she trusted him. She knew that he was telling me the truth. He told me that it was time for me to train at Camp Half-Blood, and that is exactly where she went.

{{ Height;
    "I am five foot seven. I'm of average height I guess."

---------------Getting more personal

{{ Personality;
    Lewis has a habit of seeing the bright side of any situation, no matter how grave it may be. He is usually the person who lightens the mood and tries to make others see that what is occurring could be worse. He believes that mastering anything comes from practice, so even though he may be a son of Apollo, he still works hard to improve his archery skills. Many people have told him that he doesn't need to practice, and that his aim is perfect. However, he knows that perfection is nonexistent. He will usually act upon his instincts, which can be both useful and bad. Doing so can often lead to making bad decisions about what he should do in battle, and often times this will cause him to lose if luck isn't on his side. He isn't any strategist, and has a habit of jumping into things without thinking about the possible outcomes of his actions. He prefers to follow his own rules, and dislikes taking orders from others. Since it's his life, he thinks that he can do whatever he wants. This can often times will cause him to get into unnecessary trouble, and can occasionally cause him to make new enemies. He knows when to take orders seriously though, and is willing to do so when he is participating in a real battle. Believe it or not, he can be rather obedient when he wants to be. He is always welcome to new campers, and is always willing to give them a tour of camp. He isn't shy toward strangers at all, and often times will make them feel at ease. He is rarely seen upset or depressed, and when he is, he tries to hide it. He doesn't like it when people feel bad for him about anything, because he knows that his life was a lot easier than that of most demigods. That's why he usually keeps his darker emotions locked deep inside him.
{{ History;
    Since Lewis had three siblings when he was younger, he rarely received his mother's attention. Often times it seemed like she was trying to avoid him, and back then he never understood why. When he was merely six years old, she sent him off to a boarding school. He never wanted to leave home, but she said that he was a threat to the family. He never questioned her about it, because early on he had decided just to go with the flow instead of arguing. Arguing would just make their life more complicated and make his already fragile relationship with his mother worse. She usually won their arguments anyways, so it was pointless for him to attempt to persuade her to let him stay home. It seems that it wasn't necessary though, because about as soon as he arrived at the first boarding school, he was kicked out a month later for his strange behavior. So then she sent him to another school, where he was kicked out after about the same amount of time and for nearly the same reason as the last one. She desperately tried to send him to many more boarding schools until he couldn't keep track of how many he had attended.
    Soon, she had no other option but to let Lewis stay at home. It seemed as if she disliked him even more when he returned. She was always yelling at him for pointless reasons, and eventually he got tired of her yelling. When he was seven years old, he decided to run away from home. Many monsters attacked him, but luckily was able to defend himself until he reached Camp Half-Blood. He finally understood why his mother had tried to keep him at boarding schools. His life truly had been a threat to the family, and realized that he was glad he hadn't argued with her. The only thing that confused him was why she never told him about who his father was since it seemed that she knew all along. He became a year-round camper because he felt that he wasn't needed at home and would only put his family's life in jeopardy.

{{ Personality;
    Claudia is quiet and reserved and tends to avoid being around others. She has always felt awkward whenever she tries to have a conversation with someone because she hasn't had enough experience. Because she was always travelling with her mother, she has never been able to get used to being around other people. So when someone starts talking to her, she usually shies away unless they're someone she is close to. She is self-sufficient and tends to do many things on her own. She feels that she doesn't need the help of others if she can accomplish something on her own. She believes that she can do practically anything as long as she puts her mind to it. She is curious about many things, and if there is anything that she doesn't know, then she will continue to search for an answer until she discovers it. She is persistent about whatever she does, and will not give up easily. Instead, she will keep on trying until she finally accomplishes what she wishes. In battle she will do anything but admit defeat, and the few times she does, she is known to be a sore loser. She will keep on practising her skills until the memory of having been defeated escapes her mind and worries. She tends to be indecisive when trying to make an important decision, and often times will need the help of others to finally come to a conclusion. That's why she usually keeps her opinions to herself and lets someone else make that decision for her. Her temper is fairly decent, but when she becomes angry, it is best to not be around her at the time. She can say and do many mean things without intending to until she calms down.
{{ History;
    Claudia's mother was always cold and serious, so she was never used to being around someone that was friendly. She and her mother were always travelling, as if they were trying to avoid something that would threaten them. Whenever she tried to ask why they were always on the move, her mother just shrugged the question away. She never got suspicious as to why they always travelled when she was younger, and was so used to it that she didn't even mind. But when she was nine, everything changed. She began to wonder what her identity that her mother tried so hardly to hide was, as well as why she didn't know her father. She was never really that social, but she had managed to get some conversations in with people. Her life seemed really different compared to most of the people she talked to, and they always gave her strange looks when she mentioned that she had ever been settled in the same house for any longer than a month. She eventually found the courage to try asking her mother about him again, but she easily dodged the question. She began to wonder if the entire life she had been living was a lie- if there was a reason behind why she was so different.
    She was persistent, and she was not going to let her question drop this time. When they were staying at New York and her mother wasn't around, she was unluckily ambushed by a chimera. She would never have been able to defeat it if the wind hadn't helped her. When her mother found her, she was covered in deep scrapes from the harsh battle she had fought. Her mother finally decided that it was time for Claudia to know the truth. She took the truth very calmly on the outside, but on the inside she was furious with her mother. She ran away and eventually found herself at Camp Half-Blood, where she has resided for the past eight years.

    Aaron was tired. Wait, scratch that.

    Aaron was beyond tired. The boy was exhausted.

    It was with great reluctance that he finally got out of bed in the morning. His back was stiff and his legs were sore from fighting monsters the previous day. He slowly rose to his feet and rolled his shoulders--the act caused him to wince slightly in pain but he continued to do a few more stretches as an attempt to wake himself up.

    The monster attacks at Camp were both physically and mentally tolling to the son of Zeus. Obviously as one of the leaders of Camp, he was expected to be at the front lines fighting against the monsters. And mentally, well, this was Aaron's only true safe-haven; the monsters were ruining it. Few things bothered the dark haired boy, but he was getting sick and tired of the constant invasions.

    He sighed and walked across the marble floors of Cabin One to the front door. He let his pale blue eyes slide shut as he inhaled the fresh air of outside. The weather was nice, and it sounded pretty peaceful. Aaron wondered how long the peace would last before they were hit by another wave of monsters. Everything at Camp was so different lately. It was the beginning of the summer--he usually spent this time introducing himself to new campers. But now, everything had changed. All of his time was spent protecting camp and the demigods who were inexperienced and unable to fight for themselves. Of course, there was nothing wrong with this, but yesterday marked his fifth trip to the infirmary. The demigod stuffed his hands into his pockets as he headed to the Pavilion, where he would serve himself breakfast. The nymphs that usually served them were gone for the moment, and the Demeter cabin had taken over in preparing food. He sighed once more--it was unlike Aaron to be this lethargic, but he needed a break.

    And he had a feeling that this was only the beginning.

    Shay kicked his feet atop the table beside him as he stared at a computer monitor of the perimeter of camp. Sure, he had initially installed security cameras around camp to keep track of his well-planned pranks, but he supposed that his system was useful for this purpose as well. It was around seven in the morning now, and there were no signs of monsters thus far. There had been countless phases of attacks yesterday--from what the blonde remembered, he had been called to fight five times. The last battle didn't end until eleven o'clock at night, and the son of Hermes wasn't asleep until after one in the morning, resulting in around five hours of sleep.

    Staying up past midnight to plan upcoming pranks? Shay deemed that to be completely fine. All that required was his brain and a bit of creativity. However, fighting endless monsters? That was physically grueling and not okay in Shay's book. He ran a hand through his already-messy hair and leaned back in his chair. The fighting was taking away from his sleep to his dismay, as Shay claimed that he was "in desperate need of his beauty sleep."

    He continued to monitor Camp for a little while longer before his stomach decided to growl obnoxiously loud. Forgetting to eat wouldn't do him any good, so the lanky demigod stood up and stretched his arms over his head before crossing from the technical side of the Hermes cabin to the door. He was still dressed in his clothes from yesterday, but Shay honestly didn't care less. At this point, all of the demigods at camp were beyond their points of caring (except perhaps a few Aphrodite girls but a majority of them deserted Camp in this time of need--Shay scoffed at the thought). The boy was led by his stomach to the Pavilion where he stacked a plate high with food. Shay had a feeling that there would be another invasion any minute, so he did his best to remain aware of his surroundings. Unfortunately for him, Shay's ADD decided to kick in so doodled stick figures with the remaining syrup on his plate.

    Freya woke up with a bitter taste in her mouth. She licked her lips at a feeble attempt to moisturize them and attempted to take in her surroundings. She was still extremely tired, so it took the demigod a little while to realize that she was in the infirmary. After this realization hit her, she attempted to sit up, but let out a groan of pain. It was then that the memories from yesterday returned to her.

    Just when they thought that the monster attacks were over yesterday around ten thirty, a hellhound had flown out of nowhere and knocked Freya unconscious. She mentally cursed herself for being so careless and weak--as a result, her side had been injured and she would be unable to fight off the monsters for at least another day. The girl sighed and requested some ambrosia, and once she popped the medical square into her mouth, a feeling of warmness washed over her body. Of course, Freya understood that it was far too soon for her to up and walk out of the infirmary. Her side wound had yet to be completely healed yet. At that understanding, Freya let out a long sigh. There was never much to do in the infirmary, but the daughter of Dionysus looked around nonetheless.

    To her surprise, her beloved sketchbook was sitting on the table beside of her bed with a pencil sitting on top. She smiled lightly. One of her siblings must have dropped it off so that Freya could have something to do while she was recovering in the infirmary. That was a wonderful trait of children of Dionysus like herself: the ability to be empathetic. She reached for the sketchbook and flipped it open to the next page. After thinking of what she could draw, Freya decided to sketch the scene before her, of the handful of Apollo campers who were currently hopping from injured demigod to injured demigod. The emotional vibe in the room was certainly hectic. Freya continued with her drawing despite the nagging of the emotions. Once this was all over, she would make a portrait of all of the campers, she decided with a small smile on her lips.

    Lucille tiredly stabbed at a sausage link on her plate. The daughter of Hecate was one of the few demigods at Camp that volunteered to stay up for the night watch. Now the brunette was regretting making that decision last night.

    Not only was the night itself long, but she had made the idiot decision in her weariness to experiment with ancient Greek runes detailed in one of the books she found in the attic of the Big House. While the knowledge she gained from her reading would most certainly be beneficial in the long run, she was absolutely exhausted. Lucille could feel her dark eyes growing heavy--she was beginning to fear that she would fall asleep and use her breakfast plate as a pillow. Even now despite her extreme tiredness, Lucille was attempting to read about the history of her mother's magic.

    The barrier that kept monsters away from Camp Half-Blood was a magical one. At the moment, the barrier was obviously failing them, so who better to turn to at such a time than the children of the goddess of magic herself? And out of all of the current children of Hecate at Camp, Lucille was the most knowledgeable about magic, so a majority of the responsibility to find a solution fell on her. With such important responsibilities were bestowed upon her, the small brunette was sent into a researching frenzy, spending much time looking through books in the Athena cabin and searching through Chiron's personal collection of historical books in the Big House. Unfortunately for everyone, even through her intense week of research, Lucille had returned empty handed. She let out a frustrated sigh and took out her anger on her final sausage link, stuffing the morsel into her mouth before once again returning to the book before her.
