Another war has broken out between the countries. Many have died, humans and country alike. Many have gone into a state of depression, or gotten sick. Chance of survival is slim. Alliances and hearts are broken, the pieces scattered all over like an impossible puzzle. Lands are devastated, and many have fallen, flooded, or are a raging battleground. it feels like the end of the world--is it? none of the countries are in contact unless shouting at each other on a battlefield or in hiding together, trying to survive without a fight. many countries have already died, others just struggling to live, holding on to life by just a tiny thread in the web of life. many are scared and have gone into hiding. now there are terrorists running around, destroying both lands and lives. survival is key, but many don't have the strength to grip their hand around it and live another day. nobody knows what will happen, but there are many theories--mostly absurd ones however. some say the world will explode, with all the fighting and shooting and terrorist fires. others believe that one day when no one expects it, the world will crumble to ashes beneath our feet and we'll float off into endless space and time. some think that we will all make up this "peace treaty" and stop the fighting. sure. a popular and most reasonable theory is that the world will be no more, just ancient ruins and dead bodies, and those who were lucky enough to survive will soon die off. some argue that when we have nothing left--no hope, no food, no weapons, no soldiers, no land, no courage or will to survive--then it will all be over, and we will have to become allies to live. but in the raging battle, the fields of bloody chaos, nobody is your ally. there is this one thing though... we don't know who is going to survive even after the end.

hOLY CRAP WAR-BASED i have been wanting a war-based one ;u;.

name ] the united kingdom, england, britain, whatever you want to call him.
age by looks ] around twenty-three.

appearance ] england is a medium height figure with pale-ish skin. he has messy blonde hair and lime-green eyes. according to france, his figure is rather slender. he wears a dark green military uniform with a brown belt, green trousers, and brown boots that come up to his knees. he wears an off-white shirt and a green tie. he has oddly thick eyebrows, and also shares this same trait with sealand, austrailia, hong kong and wy.
personality ] he is blunt and obstinate, a former pirate with a sharp tongue. he claims to be a gentleman but can be very cynical and uses rough speech at times. he denies the fact that his cooking is bad. he can see magical creatures, most notably the flying mint bunny, and can communicate with supernatural beings such as spirits from japanese folklore. he enjoys crafting, literature, and rock music, and also loves giving criticism to american movies. he apparently has bad luck. he enjoys ghost stories, and isn't afraid of much.

what happened to their land ] bombs were dropped onto the castle by an unknown country, and the survivors were urgently escorted out of the area. continuously, there would be random attacks at different times, before england finally got fed up and decided to attack back.

other ] i hope this is okay, i would prefer to have him earn allies and foes along the way. ^^;

personality;; Despite being in the middle of a war, New York has softened up considerably since everything has begun. To most, it seems that he's hardened his heart and discarded any mercy he might have once possessed. However, that's simply a front he always puts up if he ever has to be forced into the company of others. I suppose you could say he's become selfish, no longer caring about anyone else's well-being except his own. Although, that wouldn't be exactly true. He remains close with Vermont and New Hampshire, and in their presence he is always calm and supportive, no matter what. Unfortunately, he doesn't see them much, especially NH since he has to cross VR to get there. In other words, NY is now a softy around his "family", and a jerk to just about everyone else. He particularly dislikes the other states, but doesn't mind those from the Northeast that much. However, he refuses to let anyone that's not from their region get even remotely close to NH or VR- he feels like he could at least do that much.
family;; His only blood family is Vermont, and therefore New Hampshire, but he is also very close with (almost) everyone in the Northeast.Except Massachusetts because no one likes MassholesHe considers all the other states his adopted siblings through America, in some sense. Or at least he did, before the war.

foes;; NY prefers to not have any, but he doesn't generally trust anyone that's not his ally, and hates the Southern states.
what happened to their land;; Flooded. New York City and Long Island were lost entirely, along with around a fourth of his whole state. New York and all surviving citizens were forced to move upstate to avoid the still slowly rising water, but his land is otherwise fine for the most part.

any disease;; While he won't tell anyone, he's got a pretty bad cold and fever, but hopes it'll just pass away soon, and not turn into anything else.
any wounds;; A limp in his right leg. Since a lot of his land was flooded, he lost mobility of it, although it's not exactly paralyzed.
other;; He knows that he can't visit NH much, but he's always willing to help her and VR whenever and however he can. He refuses to do favors for anyone else.

personality;; Despite his gory past, Romania is a surprisingly cheerful character. He's also very dexterous and mischievous, though he usually doesn't take advantage of the other nations. He enjoys storytelling, especially when he can tell the tale.. Although his stories can be rather disturbing at times. Romania is also extremely eccentric, his way of doing things seem to confuse other nations. He enjoys studying folklore and practicing black magic, it being one of his strongest points.
In the face of war; it seems, much like Finland, that Romania is an entirely different person. He becomes far more violent then he is outside of combat, and notably austere. War is a serious matter to him and loss is not an option. However, Romania knows how to limit himself from drastic measures and dare not attempt the worst.

what happened to their land;; Hungary attacked the Palace of Parliament, setting it ablaze. The civilian building was burned to the ground, along with much of the city of Bucharest. Romania refuses to acknowledge the death count, for there were many that died in the attack.

any disease;; Ever since the fall of the Palace of Parliament, Romania has been rather ill with a fever, as well as horrid cough and a stuffed nose.
any wounds;; There's a incrustation stretching across Romania's chest. It doesn't seem to bother him, though.
other;; He tends to smoke; not as often as Netherlands, but Romania is known well for smoking.

personality;; Italy is very cowardly and doesn't like fighting. The war has taken a toll on him, and he is very nervous a lot. However, he generally enjoys being happy, and still goes through with activities like making pasta and singing and drawing. He cries a lot, whether it's about his land or the death of people in the war that he misses.

what happened to their land;; The northern half of Italy suffered massive attacks from Turkey as Turkey wanted to get back at Italy for beating him up in his younger years, as well as get back at Spain since he knew Spain was good friends with the Italy brothers (this was the battle that killed Spain, just as a side note). The Turkish people made most of the large, extremely solid buildings in Florence, Pisa and other parts of Italy topple. It killed many people living in this half of the country, and the damage has made North Italy basically uninhabitable. Most Northern Italians fled to France and Switzerland while the Turkish men were going through, and a surprisingly small amount of them actually died from the attack.

personality;; In his normal state, South Italy is very fiery. He has a very colourful vocabulary and doesn't like being around most people. He is extremely jealous of his brother because North Italy is better than him at most things. Part of him hopes that his fighting in the war will get him noticed and that people will start to respect him more because of it.

what happened to their land;; The South of Italy suffered a lot of flooding, as well as damages from Turkish people in Rome and other major cities. The Turkish people didn't venture as far into the Southern parts of the country due to the large amount of random flooding. Most people in South Italy were killed or stranded from the flooding, and the rest of them died in the battle with Turkey while trying to escape the country since they had to travel further. There are very few survivors from South Italy.

any disease;; I'm not sure if this counts as a disease, but he is currently suffering from selective mutism after watching his people drown and be killed by Turkish soldiers, as well as watching Spain be killed in front of him.
any wounds;; Surprisingly, Lovino fought very long and hard against the Turkish men, mostly because of Spain fighting as well, and during the battle his right eye was blinded.

personality;; Sardinia is a lot like South Italy, being very loud, bold with his opinions, and swearing like a sailor. He is a bit more affectionate though and enjoys being around people. He loves hugs and cuddling with people, though he is often too shy to request it. He doesn't enjoy wars or fighting, but often finds himself dragged into them because of his sister. Corsica is fiery as well, such is the South Italian nature, but having lived with France for years now, she has learned to use her fire to make friends and be openly loving, much like France. She's extremely flirty with everyone, though she often gets scolded when its someone deemed 'too old' for her. She is easily annoyed when she doesn't get her way, and is very good at starting fights that she can't finish.

what happened to their land;; During the flood of South Italy, both Sardinia and Corsica's land went under as well. There were no survivors and their land is completely under water. They were fortunate enough to have been staying with Spain and France respectively at the time so when the wars broke out, Sardinia was moved to France where they are currently staying with North and South Italy.
