Blaze nodded mutely as he stood by her. "Sh-Shock, um.... I think i might...."

Shock gave a worried glance at the hunter,"If something is wrong, we need to get you to Aisha."

TAking a deep breath, Blaze said, "I think i might love you," then looked at her paws, awaiting the scornful reply.

Shock looked at her surprised,"I'm still debating if I love you or not, but I do know that I have some strong feelings for you." He told her.

Shock sat with a thump, burning in shame. "I'm sorry, you shouldnt feel pressured to like me... i should go." she rose to her paws and walked off, head low.

Shock jumped in her way,"No, don't. I'm not pressured to like you. As pups, you were always kind to me and I thought of you almost whenever I couldn't think of anything when I would do my patrol. I was going to ask if you would like to be my mate, but I didn't know when the right time would be." He told her.

"Well, if you were to ask, i couldn't refuse..." She said, allowing herself to face him, hope in her eyes, thinking, 'This had better not be a prank....' her eyes held a little suspicion, but also hope.

Shock toke a step back as he looked at her eyes and toke a deep breath before asking,"Blaze, would you do me the honor of being my mate?" He asked.

"Absolutely!" she said, nuzzling his cheek. her breath came fast, and her paws seemed to contain all the energy of a rushing river. she literally trembled with happiness.
