Junebug was referring to his homosexuality, most JMDs he met weren't like him at all.

Chocolat buried his head in his arms. What was wrong with him today?! He had lost his muse, was using chatspeak and hashtags, and now he was baring his soul over the Internet to some stranger. Brilliant. He conjured a glass of water and started to drink it, then changed his mind and poured it over his head instead.

Same here. I'm a homo. People seem to have a problem with that. I don't get that at all.
Although Junebug was a little frustrated with Chocolat's chat speak, the fact that they had such a big thing in common made up for that, it was rare, but totally important and surprising to him.

(sorry for the really really late reply, sort of forgot about this for a few days. Chat speak is hard for me to write, I never knew that!)

Relieved that at least they had one thing in common made Chocolat relax. He calmed down and refilled his glass, drinking the water slowly this time. He smiled as he wrote:
That's cool. Sorry about the chat speak in case that bugged you, it happens when I'm on a coffee rush. Better now.

(No worries, I haven't really been on in a while...and I could honestly feel the same way.)

Junebug smiled, this stranger didn't seem so strange anymore, and he was kind and apologetic; the kind of JMD who wouldn't argue with him every time they didn't agree on something. Sometimes Junebug wished he wasn't so opinionated, but that wasn't very often; his opinion really became who he was.
No, its fine. I don't really drink coffee, just a random thought here.

Chocolat felt like this Junebug really understood him. He typed back:
I drink coffee all the time, probably not the best idea because now I'm a professional insomniac.

He sent it, then realizing what he'd just agreed to, he almost regretted it. Almost was key. He regretted it for a split second, then just smiled in happiness.

Chocolat almost spit out his water; he hadn't expected Junebug to agree. He put down his glass, lest he do something stupid, and typed:
Okay then, where would you like to meet? I know a little park next to that ice ream shop we could go...
He looped the JB song, then changed his mind and switched to 'Baby'. He felt strangely... strange. He didn't know why, until it hit him that this kind of counted as a first date, if Junebug said yes.

Junebug began to realize why he much preferred meeting in person, he couldn't read minds from his computer screen however much he willed himself to be able to do so. He altered his thoughts from where they were heading, focusing instead on Louis' solo in Change My Mind before changing the song to Summer Love and putting it on loop.
