Nev:
I was in the backyard, changed out of my military clothes. I was playing with Dylan, Diesel and Silver. I chuckled and tossed the toy off for the dogs.

Alex walked to the back yard and leaned against the wall, still keeping quiet and to herself

Nev:
I laughed then tossed the ball back to Dylan who threw it for the dogs.

Alex watched them, a small smile formed on her face.

Nev:
I chuckled then laughed as Dylan ran over and jumped on me. I picked him up and tossed him into the air softly but I caught him right away.

Alex smiled then walked inside to leave them alone.

Nev:
I looked back and noticed the door closing. I set Dylan down then told him to play with the dogs since I would be back real quick. I walked inside silently and over to Alex. I slid my arms around her waist and picked her up. "Hey" I said softy.

Alex jumped a little when he picked her up. She had her mind on what she had done, " oh hey.." She said softly, still kind of out of it.

Nev:
I set her on the counter softly and looked at her with my head tilted. I thought she would've been happier with my return. I sighed softly and leaned back, I still hadn't told her why I was home a year early.

Alex looked up at him, " I thought you were supposed to be there for another year..."
