Anna smiled. "Vous etes beau," she repeated, then looked to him shyly. "Did I pronounce that right?"

"Oui," he confirmed. "Vous etes belle,(you'te beautiful)" he said to her.

Now that, she understood. She blushed as he called her beautiful. "Was that a demonstration?"

"No," he said, smiling.

A shy smile tugged at Anna's lips. "You're sweet," she murmured, her eyes searching his face. "Why haven't we talked before?"

"Like I said before, I thought you were out of my league," he said.

Anna chuckled softly. "I think it's probably the opposite way around," she admitted.

"Really?" He asked.

Anna nodded and shrugged, blushing. "Yeah, of course. I mean, you're nice, you speak French, you're smart, and you're cute. Of course you're out of my league." She'd never felt this brave when talking to a guy before.

"Well the only thing you're missing is the French and we can fix that," he said.
