Anna listened with interest. Learning about others was fascinating to her. "That's really cool. My brother and I are pretty close, too."

Jamie smiled. "That's nice. I never understood how people could hate their siblings."

Anna nodded fervently, her eyes lighting up. "Right? I've never really understood it either, especially since Ben was stationed in Iraq. We Skype each other all the time."

"You're brother's in Iraq? Oh, that has to be hard. My dad had to go to war when my Mom was pregnant with Sarah. They talk all the time about how they missed each other."

Anna nodded again, this time more seriously. Her smile saddened a bit. "Yeah, he was stationed there about 8 months ago. I miss him every single day." When he mentioned his parents, her smile widened a bit. "That's so sweet."

"With good reason, though. It's not the same but I miss Sarah too," he told her.

Anna nodded. "Yeah, I guess that's true. It's sweet that you miss your sister, though." She paused, then tipped her head and asked curiously, "So are your sister and her boyfriend getting married or something?"

"I think they will, eventually," he said. "They love each other so much. It's disgustingly cute."
