Sarah smiled and walked closer to his bed. She rubbed his arm gently. "Okay."

JJ smiled. "I can't wait to get out of here."

"I know, me too." Sarah smiled. "I can't wait to go back home with you."

He nodded and smiled. "I love you."

"I love you too. So, so much." Sarah smiled softly, gently brushing his hair back from his face. She'd temporarily forgotten about his family in the room; she was too wrapped up in him.

Jack wrapped his arm around Cece. "He's so happy."

JJ smiled and watched her.

A soft smile rested on Cecilie's lips as she watched her son and his girlfriend. "I know," she murmured. "Just look at him."

Sarah leaned down and kissed his forehead. "Thank you for coming back to me."

Jack smiled and nodded. "I'm glad he's happy."

"Well, like I said before. I couldn't just leave you," he said.
