Sarah nodded slightly and wiped at her eyes. "Thank you, Jack."

"It's alright," he said.

Sarah stepped back from him and exhaled slowly, raking her fingers through her hair.

Jack patted her back and sighed, looking at his wife and daughters.

Cecilie looked to Jack, her eyes filling with tears.

Jack opened his arms. "Come here, baby."

Cecilie stood and walked over, holding her arms out towards him. She wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his shoulder. She felt silly, knowing that he needed to be comforted just as much as she did.

He kissed her head. "It's gonna be okay, baby."

Cecilie exhaled slowly and nodded a bit. "I know," she whispered, but she wasn't so sure.

He kissed her head again and rubbed her back.
