Cecilie squeezed his hand lightly and gazed worriedly out of the window as they drove.

(Skip tp when they get there?)

Not many understand the comfort I get when I walk into a bookstore and take a deep breath as I look around. I feel at home; I feel welcome. I don't have to purchase anything. Being surrounded by books fills me with a sense of security.

(Yep!)

When they finally arrived, Cecilie hurried from the car and rushed inside. Her baby was hurt and she was not going to walk casually as though nothing was wrong. The maternal instinct in her was taking over; she needed to know if JJ was okay.

Sarah was already in the room with him, sitting in a chair that she'd pulled up to the side of his head. She dropped her head onto the bed and grasped one of his hands tightly in both of hers. She tried hard not to cry, but how could she remain calm in a situation like this?

JJ layed still, unconscious. The doctor had just found out he was comatose. They hadn't the slightest idea when that would change.

After finding out JJ's room number, Cecilie hurried there with her family in tow.

Sarah pressed her lips to his hand, starting to cry silently. "Please wake up," she whispered. "Please JJ, you can't leave me."

Jack stepped in, and he looked away. "Oh god."

JJ didn't respond.

When Cecilie saw her son lying there, she nearly lost it. She hurried to his other side and started to cry. "Oh JJ. I'm so sorry," she cried.

Jack sighed and walked to her. "Baby, it's not your fault."

Cecilie never tore her gaze from her son. "He's my baby. I should he able to protect him," she whimpered.

Jack sighed, looking at JJ.

Lelani looked at Emily.
