Sarah smiled softly and rested her head against his upper arm, still holding his hand. She squeezed his hand lightly.

A gentle smile spread across Luke's lips. "Good. That's what I wanted to hear."

JJ smiled and kissed Sarh's head.

Sarah smiled and squeezed his hand again gently. "I love you too," she murmured so only he could hear.

Sarah leaned up and kissed him lightly, then pulled away. She was hyper-aware that her father was in the room, so she didn't want to upset him too much all at once.

JJ kissed her back until she pulled away.

Sarah kissed his nose lightly and smiled, then leaned into his side again. "So all is well?" she asked, not addressing anyone in particular.
