Sarah stood and walked to her mother.

Emily kept her arms around him the entire time he spoke. She winced. "They're in the hospital?" she asked.

Kris hugged her, comforting her this time. She was still Sarah's mother. "He'll pull through."

JJ sighed and told her what happened. "Kris is okay, but Luke..."

Sarah leaned into her embrace, allowing herself to be comforted. "I hope so," she whispered.

Emily gasped. "Does Mom know?"

Kris nodded and kissed her head.

JJ shook his head. "I need to tell her."

"Did I do this to him?" Sarah whispered, praying that her worst fear wasn't true. If she'd caused all this, then she didn't know what she would do.

Emily bit her lip. "Okay, but...not now." She hugged him again.

Kris sighed, pulling her closer. "No, baby. It was the meds, they... they messed with his head," she said. She didn't have yhe heart to tell her the truth.

JJ hugged her back and sighed. "I missed you guys."

Sarah winced. "I didn't even know that he was ON meds," she whimpered, burying her face in her mother's shirt.

Emily buried her face in his shirt. "We missed you too. A lot."

Kris sighed, rubbing her back. "Shh, it's okay."

JJ nodded and kept hugging her.

Sarah squeezed her eyes shut.

"Have you seen Dad yet?" Emily asked.

"No, he's at work," he said.
