Luke squeezed his eyes shut. His mind was becoming more polluted with dark thoughts as the depression began to take over. "I need my medicine," he whispered.

Kris nodded. "Don't move," she said and got up. "J," she said and nodded at Luke, telling him to make sure he waa okay while she was gone. She ran up to get his medicine.

Luke stayed on the couch, keeping his eyes tightly shut. His hands went to his head as he tried to clear the dark thoughts away.

Kris looked for the medicine. She tended to be very forgetful now so it took her a while to actually find it. Once she did, she hurried down with a bottle of water and handed them to Luke.

As soon as he was handed the medication and water, Luke took the pills without a second's hesitation. He wished he could be happier again, but he couldn't do that unless he either had the pills or Sarah miraculously appeared. One wasn't plausible, so medication it was.

Kris waited until he was done, then hugged him again like before.

Luke took a deep, shaky breath. "Sorry," he whispered to the both of them.

Kris shook her head. "Its okay," she said.

Jamie nodded. "Yeah, you're fine."

Luke bit his lip. "If you say so."

Kris sighed and rubbed his shoulder.
