Sarah sighed and nodded. "Yeah, it was tiring. Today was field trip day and the kids kept running off." She chuckled quietly. "I guess that's what happens when you work at a daycare, though." She rolled her shoulders back a bit. "But besides that, my shoulders hurt and I don't know why."
Luke sat beside her. He wasn't anxious like she was, but he was fairly depressed. He had medication he had to take each day to keep himself from doing things he'd regret. The guilt of driving their daughter away had become too much.
