Luke pulled her into a hug over the console, upset with himself and overcome with sadness that his baby had probably left them.

When JJ answered, relief hit Emily like a tidal wave. "JJ!" she exclaimed. "You're okay!"

Jack sighed and explained what he knew when a man walked over.

Kris sobbed into him.

"Shh, be quiet," he said. "Em, promise me you won't tell."

Cecilie stayed silent, staring down at her shoes as Jack spoke.

Luke hugged her tightly. "Shh," he whispered, rubbing her back. He buried his face in her shoulder.

Emily bit her lip. How could she keep this from her parents? After a moment, she nodded. "I promise. Now where are you? Are you okay?"

Kris cried, keeping her arms around him.

JJ sighed. "I'm fine, Em. I'm with Sarah in a hotel. I'm not going to tell where. We're okay."

Cecilie leaned into him and finally looked up at the cop. "Help us find our son," she begged. "I'll do anything."

Luke held her close to him, rubbing her back gently. He felt so horrible.

"What? Why are you in a hotel with Sarah?" Emily gaped.

The cop nodded. "We'll do whatever we can."

Kris sighed. "Can you drive? I can't see," she sobbed.

"Yeah," he said.

Cecilie looked up at Jack helplessly.

Luke shook his head and swallowed hard. "I'll drive, but we can't walk in like this."

"Why are you in a hotel with Sarah?" Emily repeated. "Everyone is freaking out, JJ."

Kris nodded. "Okay."

JJ sighed. "We ran away."

Cecilie turned to the cop and started describing JJ with detail. She just wanted her son back.

Luke kissed her head and held her tightly.

Emily frowned deeply. "Why?"

Sarah stirred slightly.
