"I know," he said. He rubbed her arm. Why was it any diffetent than Luke kissing Kris? She's still somebody's daughter. He pushed the thoughts away though.

Sarah sighed and walked close to his side. Once they got to his house, she opened the front door and stepped inside.

JJ looked down at her. "Cheer up, Buttercup," he teased.

Sarah smiled a bit. "Oh hush. Don't make me smile when I'm mad," she said, though she was only teasing. She pushed his shoulder with hers lightly.

"Oh xome in. You know you wabt to laugh," he teased.

Sarah pressed her lips into a thin line in an attempt to conceal her smile. It only worked for a few seconds before she cracked a smile. "Oh whatever." She closed the door behind them. "Maybe you'll have better things to do at your house to keep us entertained. Better TV channels, maybe?"

"Maybe, I don't know," he said. "You're welcome to search ghrough."

Sarah smiled. "Thanks babe." She walked to his couch and plopped down, starting to search through the channels. As she flipped through them, she couldn't help but bring their situation up again. "Why does he even care?"

"I don't know, baby. I think it's cause you're hus daughter and all but then he's sort of hypocritical," he said and sat by her. "Cheez-it?"

Sarah sighed and shook her head. "I just don't know. It's so stupid. You're older than me, but I don't think that's his main concern." She looked over at him and raised an eyebrow. "Cheez-It?"
