He smiled at her, and rubbed her hand.

Sarah squeezed his hand gently, leaning back into the pillows in the hospital bed. She sighed quietly. "I wish they made these things more comfortable."

"Yeah, they're pretty bad," he said. He'd had a few surgeries. Minor ones though.

"It's like laying on a rock. A lumpy rock." Sarah sighed. "I wish they were bigger. Then you could keep me company."

JJ laughed. "I don't wanna get lynched, Sarah," he teased.

Sarah chuckled softly. "Aw c'mon, they won't even allow some innocent cuddling?"

"I don't know," he said.

[twofrogsinacoat]

"They probably wouldn't, but you have to be a rebel at some point, right?" Sarah teased.

"True," he said, and chuckled.

Sarah smiled when he chuckled. She loved making him laugh.
