JJ looked up. "She's okay. She's weak and tired but okay," he responded in French.

Jack was with Cecilie.

Cecilie exhaled in relief and nodded. "I'm so glad," she responded honestly in French. She made her way over and stood beside JJ, rubbing one of his shoulders gently. "Are you alright?"

He nodded. "Now I know she's okay, yes "

Cecilie leaned down and kissed the top of his head. She smoothed his hair back gently. "I was so worried for the both of you. As soon as I heard, I grabbed your father and came straight here." She glanced up at Jack, then back down to her son.

JJ nodded. "Thank you, Mom," he said.

Cecilie nodded. "I'm just grateful that mon bébé wasn't hurt." She looked to Sarah and sighed softly. "Poor Sarah."

JJ sighed. "Mine was," he murmured.

Cecilie looked down at him again, her expression softening. Did her son care for Sarah that much? It was obvious that he did. "You did all you could."

He nodded. "I know."

"Just stay with her, okay? It's obvious that you care for her a great deal. I know she returns it, because I can see it." Cecilie smiled softly and smoothed his hair again.
